More recently, Loomer has been propelling conspiracy theories about Haitian immigrants eating pets in Ohio, while Trump and running mate JD Vance have been repeating. Trump even brought up the topic at the presidential debate last week.
Many Republicans, including Lindsey Graham and Marjorie Taylor Greene, two of Trump’s biggest supporters, have criticized the former President for his connection to Loomer. Trump responded with:
“I don’t control Laura. Laura — she’s a, she’s a free spirit. Well, I don’t know. I mean, look, I can’t tell Laura what to do….I don’t know that much about it. No, I don’t…I know she’s a big fan of the campaign, but I really don’t know.”
Loomer isn’t officially a part of the Trump campaign, but Republicans are worried that Loomer is bringing down Trump’s chances in states like Georgia and North Carolina.
However, Trump doesn’t seem worried about Loomer hurting his Presidential chances. She was also on the scene of a second apparent assassination attempt on Trump, which took place on Sunday.
