Kerr became the highest-paid NBA head coach in history when he signed a two-year, $35 million contract. Gregg Popovich’s (Spurs) $16 million and Erik Spoelstra’s (Heat) $15 million salary round out of the top 3 head coach salaries for the 2024-25 campaign.
The most common NBA head coach salary is worth $8 million, followed by $7 million. Six NBA coaches are earning $8 million in 2024-25. This includes JJ Reddick (Lakers), Quin Snyder (Hawks), Tom Thibodeau (Knicks), Jason Kidd (Mavericks), Nick Nurse (76ers), and Michael Malone (76ers).
