Tommy Fury V KSI

  • Betting odds for KSI’s next opponent at Bovada favor a showdown versus Tommy Fury in August. The Iron Sheik, Tyson Fury, and Vladimir Putin share the longest odds.
  • Tommy Fury is coming off a win against Jake Paul on February 26. The younger half-brother of Tyson Fury is 36th in the WBC cruiserweight rankings.
  • KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, carries a professional boxing record of 1-0-0. He owns five exhibition boxing wins in his career.

After a split-decision win over Jake Paul, Tommy Fury might be in the boxing ring with another celebrity YouTube fighter in the near future. According to the latest odds at Bovada, Fury is favored to be KSI’s next opponent.

Fury is the first true professional boxer that Paul stepped into the ring with. The pro bout in Saudi Arabia didn’t go as Paul hoped it would. Paul was favored to win the match, but suffered a clear defeat.

The judges were being generous when they gave a round to Paul. The match was heavily tilted in Fury’s favor. He controlled the pace and had Paul on his heels for the majority of the bout.

While nothing has been finalized, Fury is the likeliest opponent for KSI in his next fight. A rematch between KSI and Joe Fournier is also possible, according to oddsmakers at Bovada. On May 13, KSI and Fournier battled in London, England.

KSI Win Overturned Following Fournier’s Appeal

Initially, KSI had the sixth win of his boxing career against Fournier on May 13. However, it was later ruled that KSI caught Fournier in the face with an elbow instead of a punch.

The tape revealed clear contact to Fournier’s face with his elbow. The impact sent Fournier down, resulting in what was ruled a KO at the time.

To KSI’s credit, he admitted that the win was tarnished because of the incident, which was deemed to be an accident. A few days later, his win would be overturned by the Professional Boxing Association.

KSI had Fournier on the ropes, but the unfortunate incident took away any chance of a victory. Considering how the contest ended, there is speculation that there will be a rematch at some point in the future.

Will it be KSI’s next match, though? If you believe so, then bet on the prop bet at Bovada. Currently, KSI vs. Fournier has the second-best odds of happening at +600.

However, according to Bovada, the more likely scenario is going to be a first-time meeting between KSI and Fury. If it counts as a professional boxing match and not an exhibition, this would be the second official pro bout for KSI. His first and only, was a split-decision win over Logan Paul in 2019.

Fury Favored To Face KSI In His Next Bout

Is Fury the right opponent for KSI? This looks like the next logical step after Fury safely made it past Jake Paul for a win. Currently, Bovada has this bout happening next at +200 odds.

There isn’t another match within reach of the Fury vs. KSI odds. Fournier is the next likely fight at +600. Nate Diaz, who might carry some value at +1200, is the next likeliest matchup.

KSI has sent out challenges to Andrew Tate in the past, but so far, the invite has not been reciprocated.

Tate has shown no interest in returning to combat sports. That may change in the future, but for right now, it is highly unlikely that Tate gets involved in an exhibition boxing match. With +2000 odds, there is a 4.8% implied probability of it happening.

What About The Iron Sheik or Vladimir Putin Vs KSI?

Yes, you can bet on KSI’s next match to feature former professional wrestler, The Iron Sheik, or even Russian president Vladimir Putin.

The Iron Sheik recently indicated that he wouldn’t be opposed to taking on KSI. Keep in mind that The Iron Sheik is 81 years of age and his most recent wrestling match took place in 2010.

Even on Twitter, The Iron Sheik has never broken kayfabe. He is always in character regardless of the situation. Are you interested in betting on The Iron Sheik as KSI’s next opponent? You can wager on this matchup at +10000 odds.

The Iron Sheik shares the same odds as Tyson Fury and Putin. Thus far, there has been no word from Fury or Putin if they would be interested in an exhibition boxing match versus KSI. The Iron Sheik might be the best value bet of the biggest long shots at +10000.
