Our Staff Review
- “Silver Oak Casino isn’t the best place to gamble for real money online, but if you’re willing to overlook their difficult sign-up process and the wagering requirements on their bonuses, you can have a lot of fun with their slots games.” – Rex Hoffman
- "Silver Oak Casino would not be my top choice for gambling online. There is potential, but with so many frustrating navigational issues and slow customer service, I think you are better off taking a pass here. It just isn't worth the frustration that it causes." – Steven Miller
Review of Silver Oak Casino
While some online casinos make it easy to log in to their site and start playing games, Silver Oak has a different approach. They claim you have to download their software to play their games, but once you’ve gone through the lengthy sign-up process via Inclave, you’re given a login to a browser-based casino.
Maybe it was just a fluke, but it took us a full day to sign up at Silver Oak Casino. They require your name, email, phone, and address. You’ll get an email verification code, which took a while to show up in our inbox. After that, you have to verify your phone number. The text took about five minutes to show up, by which time, the code had already expired. After trying a second time, we were told that there was an error.
This is definitely a consideration for anyone looking to get started gambling immediately. A lengthy sign-in process can say a lot about an online casino, and in this case, we’ve found that nothing at Silver Oak is as easy as it should be.
After visiting the FAQ page, we were able to find where we could download the casino platform. Once we did, we were asked to log in, but the username and password we just set up through Inclave were flagged as invalid.
Signing up for an online casino shouldn’t be this hard, and after fighting with the installer and the login for the app, we decided to just review the browser-based casino pages. Having more than one way to play at a real money online casino is often a plus, but not when the process is this difficult.
To make matters worse, while poking around Silver Oak’s terms and conditions, we found the section on playthrough requirements, which might also set you off from making a deposit:
As you can see, for the average gambler, their playthrough requirements are unrealistic. You’ll have to invest a lot of time and money before you can even make a withdrawal.
Silver Oak Casino User Interface
On the surface, the Silver Oak Casino layout is simple and intuitive. The sidebar menu is easy-to-use, and with helpful icons, you can quickly reach the page you’re looking for.
They have a nice feature where you can find your favorite games and access them through the sidebar, making it easy to replay the games you like. There’s also a practice feature on most of their games that allows you to play them without making a deposit.

What Software Powers Silver Oak Casino?
Silver Oak Casino uses Real Time Gaming as its primary gaming software provider. Real Time Gaming is a fairly popular choice for offshore casinos because Real Time operated out of Costa Rica before being acquired by Hastings International and moving to the Netherlands.
At Hampton Casino, a player won a $1.3 million jackpot on a game of Caribbean 21, but the casino refused payout, accusing the player of using an automated playing program. Afterwards, RTG limited the betting options on Caribbean 21 and later removed the game from their lineup. Other incidents led to RTG-powered casinos being banned in Australia.
It’s no surprise that Silver Oak chose RTG as its software provider. With such a convoluted sign-up process, their games were bound to have similar issues. We aren’t going to issue a “don’t play here” warning, just know that there are better casinos with more reputable software providers out there.
Casino Games at Silver Oak Casino
Online Slots
Silver Oak Casino prides itself on its slot games. They have just under 100 slot games to choose from, most of which are popular with frequent gamblers.
Among their games, they offer:
- Princess Warrior
- Bubble Bubble 3
- Legend of Helios
- 777
- Storm Lords
- Panda’s Gold
- Achilles
Silver Oak frequently updates its games and shows which games are new with a little red box in the upper left-hand corner of each new game.
Table Games
In Silver Oak’s table games section, they only offer four table games, primarily blackjack. They might offer more in their app, but we have a suspicion that Silver Oak is a slots-based casino.
The four games that Silver Oak hosts in their browser casino are:
- Suit ‘Em Up 21 Blackjack
- Perfect Pairs Blackjack
- Blackjack 21
- Tri-Card Poker
We would like to see more table games added to their browser casino, like baccarat, more poker variations, and craps.
But, they do allow you to play the free demo of the table games they do offer, which is a good way to get a handle on the controls and test out your strategy before playing for real money.
Curiously, their European Roulette game is in the specialty games section, alongside Fish Catch, Banana Jones, and Keno.
Video Poker
Silver Oak has a much better selection of video poker games than table games and these games are also available for free play. The poker player will be pleased with their options, which include:
- Jacks or Better
- Joker Poker
- Double Jackpot
- Double Double Jackpot Poker
- Loose Deuces
- Sevens Wild
- Deuces Wild
- Bonus Deuces Wild
- Aces and Eights
- All American Poker
- Bonus, Double, and Double Double Bonus Poker
Tournaments
Seeing as how Silver Oak is a slots-heavy casino, it’s no surprise that they have frequent slots tournaments where players can go toe-to-toe with other avid slots enthusiasts.
The tournament feature is only available in the downloadable app, but they give details about it on the staging site. There are daily, monthly, and weekly tournaments and the games in each tournament frequently change so you’re not playing the same slot over and over.
Silver Oak offers thousands of dollars in prizes for their slots tournaments, so if you’re already invested in playing their slots games, tournaments are a great way to up the ante.
Banking Options at Silver Oak Casino
Frankly, we were underwhelmed by Silver Oak Casino’s banking options. The whole depositing and withdrawal process seems convoluted and difficult.
In terms of deposits, you have a few options:
- Bitcoin
- Litecoin
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Discover
- American Express
- Player Rewards Card
As you can see, Silver Oak doesn’t offer any e-Wallets and has limited crypto deposit methods. Plus, they seem to have eliminated the option for bank wires or cashier’s checks.
When we review an online casino, we like to give our readers as much detail about what’s actually like to play at the casino. However, in this case, Silver Oak doesn’t give any details about deposit limits, timeframes, or fees.
Plus, in order to even see their withdrawal options, you have to submit proof of account verification. To do so, you have to supply them with a state or federal photo ID and proof of address, like a recent utility bill. They say that the account verification can take up to 72 hours to complete, and in our opinion, the whole process takes too long.
Payout times are another element that’s suspiciously absent from the banking pages. A few other reviews of Silver Oak Casino online state that the payout times exceed ten days, and that sounds like a reasonable estimation. Silver Oak Casino withdrawal reviews aren’t nice to the casino, as they have limited withdrawal options and payout takes longer than they reasonably should.
If you’re making your first withdrawal, you can tack on 3 days to the timeframe because of the 72-hour wait time for account verification. Then, depending on what withdrawal option you choose, you could be looking at a week or more to get your winnings.
Bank wires normally take up to 5 days to process, while a check is even longer. We’d say your best option is to withdraw with Bitcoin. Typically, Bitcoin transactions can take up to a day, so you’ll really be able to cut the timeline in half if you use this method.
Silver Oak Casino’s Bonuses and Promotions
Silver Oak does have some nice bonuses, but most of them revolve around playing a certain slot machine with high wagering requirements. While looking at their promotions page, we were confused why there wasn’t a welcome bonus package. Then, we checked our email and they sent us a code to get a 275% deposit bonus.
While they probably thought it would feel more personal, like an individual bonus just for us, it felt convoluted. One of the biggest factors that drive new players is a casino’s welcome bonus, and if there isn’t information about it on their homepage or promotions page, how can gamblers make an informed decision?
There is some discrepancy between the actual casino site and the staging site where you have to log in or make an account. On the staging site, they say you can get up to $10,000 for free with a welcome package. For whatever reason, this info isn’t displayed in the promotions area of the actual casino site, which leads us to believe that Silver Oak doesn’t actually want people to claim this bonus. Regardless, here are the details of the promo:
Here are the other promotions that players can claim:
- Twister Wilds Bonus – with a minimum of a $30 deposit, you are eligible for a 300% deposit bonus and 30 free spins on the Twister Wilds slot game. There is a 10x wagering requirement and the bonus can only be used for slots and Keno.
- 200% Morning Bonus – This bonus gives you a 200% deposit bonus, but only in the morning. They don’t specify a timeframe when you have to make a deposit, but they do allow players to make cashouts that are less than the $100 minimum when they claim this bonus. It’s subject to a 10x wagering requirement, can only be used for slots and keno, and requires a $30 minimum deposit.
- Game of the Month – For this bonus, your deposit top-off changes based on the amount you deposit.
• $30 = 100% bonus and 30 free spins
• $50 = 150% bonus and 50 free spins
• $75 = 175% bonus and 75 free spins
• $100 = 220% bonus and 100 free spinsIn addition, this promotion comes with a 10x playthrough requirement, no max cashout, and can only be used for slots and keno. - Game of the Week – If you deposit $50 or more, you can claim a 150% bonus and 50 free spins for their game of the week. Like the other bonuses, there is a 10x wagering requirement and the bonus can only be used for slots or keno.
- Crewpon – This bonus does away with the playthrough requirement and gives players a 270% bonus on deposits $50 or more. It can only be used for slots or keno, and players have a chance to win a $1,000 chip after they claim the bonus.
- Jackpot Hunter – With a $30 deposit, you can claim a 175% bonus. Subject to 10x wagering requirements and is only for slots or keno.
The reason all the bonuses are for slots or keno is that those games are based entirely on luck. There’s no strategy for slots or keno, unlike games like poker, baccarat, or blackjack. In this way, the casino suits its own best interests. The wager requirements and the game restrictions make it easier for them to recoup your bonus when you lose.
It would be nice to see at least one promotion for table games because as it stands, the promos page is very one-sided.
Silver Oak Casino Customer Support Options
During an online casino review, we always like to test out the casino’s customer service, and we were presented with the opportunity at Silver Oak.
When we were looking for the withdrawal options, we use Silver Oak’s live chat feature to get in contact with their customer support team.
At first, you message a chatbot that will then connect you with an associate, which takes a few minutes. Then, we had to submit our email, username, and phone number before we could even ask a question. We were then put on hold (on hold, during live chat) for more than 5 minutes. Eventually, we got our questions answered (well, some of them).
We inquired about the withdrawal options, and the representative told us they offer payouts via Bitcoin, bank wire, and check, and she provided the limits on these methods as well.
However, we also asked by the withdrawal info wasn’t readily available on the site for players who hadn’t signed up, and she failed to answer that question.
Aside from live chat, Silver Oak Casino also has an email address you can submit questions to. Overall, we got most of what we needed from support, but the timeliness of the replies was a bit frustrating. Especially if you’re trying to sort out a deposit or payout issue, the wait times between messages in the live chat can really slow down the process.
