Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants Odds and Best Bets

Week 4 starts with an NFC East matchup on Thursday Night Football between the Cowboys and the Giants. Both teams are 1-2 this season, and New York is a 4.5-point underdog at home in Bovada’s Week 4 2024 NFL odds.

The Cowboys avoided a third straight blowout loss at home by nearly completing the comeback win over the Ravens. They lost, but Dallas’s offense looked better in garbage time than it had in the previous seven quarters.

New York suffered two blowout losses to the Cowboys last year, and the Giants have lost six straight games to their divisional rival. Dallas will extend their winning streak against the Giants this week and cover the 4.5-point spread.

New Orleans Saints vs. Atlanta Falcons Odds and Best Bets

Next is an NFC South showdown between the Saints (2-1) and the Falcons (1-2). New Orleans is a 1.5-point underdog in the latest Week 4 NFL odds. The Saints lost at home last week, but they started the season with two blowout wins.

On the other hand, Atlanta is a dropped Saquon Barkley catch away from being 0-3. With a win this weekend, the Falcons can put the slow start to the Kirk Cousins Era behind them.

New Orleans’ offense struggled last week, but their defense played well, and I believe the Saints’ defense is the key to their upset win this week. The Saints should look more like the team they were in the first two weeks, securing the win as a road underdog.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Carolina Panthers Odds and Best Bets

Despite being 0-3, the Bengals are 4.5-point road favorites in the current NFL football odds in Week 4. Cincinnati has struggled to score this season, and their two home losses came when they were favored by more than a touchdown.

Carolina, by contrast, beat the Raiders thanks to the resurgence of former Bengals’ quarterback Andy Dalton. The Panthers’ roster is one of the worst in the league, but they are going against a Cincinnati team that has looked lost this season.

I do not think Dalton’s superb play will continue this weekend, but I also hesitate to bet on the Bengals to cover. My advice is to bet on Cincinnati winning, but on the Panthers covering at home.

LA Rams vs. Chicago Bears Odds and Best Bets

The Rams (1-2) and Bears (1-2) can both improve to .500 with a win this weekend. LA pulled off a surprising comeback win over the 49ers last week, but they are underdogs on the road in Chicago. Bovada lists the Bears as 3.0-point favorites at home in its NFL lines for Week 4.

Chicago’s defense has kept the team in games while rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has struggled to find his footing in the NFL. The Bears should have another great day on defense against an injury-riddled Rams’ offense.

Williams and the offense have played better, but there is still plenty of room for improvement. I believe the Bears will win, but I am not confident they will cover the spread this Sunday.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers Odds and Best Bets

Minnesota is undefeated and has impressive wins over the 49ers and the Texans on its resume. Despite their play, the Vikings are 2.5-point underdogs this weekend in the latest NFL Week 4 spreads. They face the Packers this Sunday in Green Bay.

The Packers are 2-0 in Jordan Love’s absence, and Green Bay’s quarterback could return to action this weekend. Even if Love does return, he will likely be limited.

Minnesota’s defense leads the NFL in sacks with 16 through the first three games. Sam Darnold has also made a compelling case for Comeback Player of the Year so far this season. I think the Vikings will win the NFC North matchup outright this Sunday. 

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Houston Texans Odds and Best Bets

Jacksonville was on the losing end of a Monday Night Football blowout in Week 3, and is 0-3 to start the year. Bovada has the Jaguars listed at +6.5 in their NFL Week 4 projections. They play the Texans (-270) in Houston in the first of their two AFC South divisional matchups this year.

The Texans’ offense struggled in their Week 2 loss. However, they should be able to bounce back this week against a Jaguars’ defense that allowed 47 points in Week 3 in Buffalo. Houston is also at home, which should give them an edge this week.

Divisional games can be tricky, though, and betting on a touchdown favorite is challenging. Doug Pederson, Jacksonville’s head coach, could also be coaching for his job. I believe the Texans will win, but I recommend betting on a desperate Jaguars’ team to cover.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds and Best Bets

Pittsburgh (3-0) is one of the more surprising undefeated teams this season. The Steelers’ defense has held opponents to 10 points or fewer in every game. Pittsburgh is a 2.5-point favorite on the road this weekend in Indianapolis, according to Bovada’s NFL odds for Week 4.

The Colts offense has struggled to generate points and opposing teams have successfully ran the ball against Indy. Chicago struggled to run the ball, but that says more about the Bears’ rushing attack than anything else.

Pittsburgh’s combination of a run-heavy offense and stout defense has carried them to three wins to start the year. I believe it will work again this weekend, with the Steelers picking up another road win.

Denver Broncos vs. New York Jets Odds and Best Bets

The latest chapter in the newly-minted Broncos-Jets rivalry will take place this Sunday. Denver is a 7.0-point underdog on the road in New Jersey this Sunday. New York is a -330 moneyline favorite in the latest NFL Week 4 lines.

After a blowout loss in Week 1, the Jets’ schedule got significantly more manageable. They beat the Titans and the Patriots, and the team has been better on both sides of the ball. It could be more of the same this weekend with rookie quarterback Bo Nix coming to town.

Nix and the Broncos beat the Buccaneers in a dominant fashion on Sunday, but they face a much tougher test this weekend. I think the Jets will win, but I like Denver to cover the touchdown spread on the road.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Odds and Best Bets

Speaking of the Buccaneers, they are 2.5-point underdogs at home this weekend in the latest NFL spreads for Week 4. Tampa Bay hosts the Philadelphia Eagles, who are coming off a hard-fought win in New Orleans.

The Buccaneers beat Philly in the playoffs last year, and I think they will pull off the upset this weekend. Philadelphia’s offense has struggled to score in the previous two weeks, and their defense is vulnerable.

Tampa Bay is also motivated to win after their disappointing loss on Sunday. I think Baker Mayfield and company will do enough to win the game outright, or, at the very least, they will cover their +2.5 points.

Washington Commanders vs. Arizona Cardinals Odds and Best Bets

Washington won outright in Week 3, despite being a 7.5-point underdog against the Bengals in Cincinnati. The Commanders are a road underdog again this weekend against the Cardinals. Arizona is a 3.5-point favorite in the NFL betting lines for Week 4. 

The Cardinals have been a tough out at home, but the Commanders have also exceeded expectations this season. I think Washington quarterback Jayden Daniels will take another step toward winning Rookie of the Year with a huge win this weekend.

Arizona’s Kyler Murray has struggled against strong pass rushes up the middle, most notably against the legendary Aaron Donald. Washington has two of the best DTs in the league and should be able to wreck Arizona’s game plan this weekend.

New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds and Best Bets

The biggest favorite of the weekend in Bovada’s NFL spreads in Week 4 are the 49ers. They are listed as 10-point home favorites and available as -510 moneyline favorites. San Francisco has lost back-to-back games, despite holding a double-digit lead over the Rams in Week 3.

Brock Purdy played well in the loss, despite missing several of his best players on offense. Purdy should play well again this week in the 49ers’ first home game since Week 1. The Patriots upset the Bengals and forced the Seahawks to overtime, but there is a reason this team had one of the lowest preseason win totals.

New England has had bad injury luck, and their roster issues showed in the team’s 24-3 loss to the Jets. I think the Patriots will lose again this week. However, given the 49ers’ injury problems, I am not confident in betting on them to cover a 10-point spread. 

Kansas City Chiefs vs. LA Chargers Odds and Best Bets

Next is an AFC West divisional matchup between the Chiefs and the Chargers. Kansas City beat Atlanta on SNF to move to 3-0, while the Chargers lost on the road in Pittsburgh to fall to 2-1. The Chiefs are a 9.0-point road favorite in the latest NFL odds for Week 4, 2024.

This could essentially be a home game for the Chiefs, given the Chargers struggled to attract fans to SoFi. Also, LA could be without Justin Herbert this week after the star quarterback aggravated his sprained ankle against the Steelers. The Chargers have little to no chance of winning if Herbert is out.

Even if Herbert plays, he will be limited physically, and I doubt he will be able to power the Chargers past KC. However, the Chargers’ running game should keep the game close, and I think LA at least covers the spread.

Cleveland Browns vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds and Best Bets

Another AFC West team in action this weekend is the Las Vegas Raiders. Vegas is a 1-point favorite at home against the struggling Cleveland Browns in Bovada’s NFL spreads for Week 4, 2024. The Raiders were blown out at home last week, and the Browns lost to the lowly Giants in Cleveland.

Cleveland also lost at home in Week 1, but they did win on the road in Jacksonville in Week 2. The key to victory for the Browns will be to lean on their defense against a Raiders’ offense that was terrible on Sunday.

I think the Browns will win this game, handing the Raiders back-to-back home losses. Either way, this should be a low-scoring game, and I recommend taking the under on the NFL Week 4, 2024 point total line for this game.

Buffalo Bills vs. Baltimore Ravens Odds and Best Bets

After a huge comeback win in Week 1, the Bills have dominated their last two opponents. Buffalo will try to move to 4-0 on the season this weekend with a road game in Baltimore. The Ravens are favored by 2.5 points in the updated NFL football odds for Week 4, 2024.

Baltimore had a 28-6 lead entering the fourth quarter against Dallas, but the Cowboys scored 19 points in the final frame. The Ravens held on to win, but just barely. Their struggles closing out games will cost them this weekend against Buffalo.

The Bills are my pick to win this exciting AFC matchup. I also think this will be a high-scoring game, and the teams will combine for over 45.5 points in this SNF matchup.

Tennessee Titans vs. Miami Dolphins Odds and Best Bets

Like Week 3, Week 4 will feature two Monday Night Football games. The first is an AFC matchup between the Titans (0-3) and the Dolphins (1-2). Miami is a 1-point underdog in the latest NFL Week 4,2024 spreads markets.

Miami will be without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, but they will have the advantage of playing at home. The Titans have not scored more than 17 points in any game this year, so the Dolphins do not need to score a lot to win this one.

If the Dolphins can move the ball on the ground, they should win this game easily at home. I think the Dolphins will win, especially if the Titans’ offense continues to turn the ball over.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Detroit Lions Odds and Best Bets

The second game of this week’s MNF doubleheader is an NFC showdown between the Seahawks and the Lions. Seattle is undefeated, but the Seahawks are a 4.0-point road underdog this Monday in Detroit.

Detroit has struggled in the red zone this year, but its running game was better in Week 3. If they can carry over that success to this week, they should be able to win this matchup.

Moving the ball on Seattle’s defense has been easier said than done this season. The Seahawks’ opponents have also combined for a record of 3-6 this year, and Detroit will be their toughest test, by far. I believe the Lions will win, but I suggest betting on the Seahawks to cover.
