Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns Odds and Best Bets

For the second time in three weeks, an AFC North matchup kicks off the action as the Steelers take on the Browns in Cleveland on Thursday Night Football. Pittsburgh is the top team in the North at 8-2 and beat the Ravens 18-16 to take a two-game lead in the division. The Steelers are 4-point road favorites in the NFL odds for Week 12, 2024.

Cleveland, conversely, had two weeks to prepare for the Saints and still lost 35-14 in New Orleans last week. Jameis Winston nearly had 400 yards passing, but the Browns failed to produce points. In fact, the Browns have been held to 14 points or fewer in three of their last four games.

The Steelers offense also performed poorly last week, failing to score a touchdown despite the win. Pittsburgh should be able to win this game, but AFC North games are typically close. The Steelers should win, but the Browns can cover at home on TNF.

Tennessee Titans vs. Houston Texans Odds and Best Bets

Another divisional battle on the schedule this week pits the Titans against the Texans. Tennessee lost again last week, falling 23-13 to the Vikings. Houston, on the other hand, handled its business on Monday Night Football, beating the Cowboys 34-10 in Dallas.

The Texans are heavy favorites in the AFC South matchup. Houston is a 9-point home favorite in the latest NFL Week 12 projections at secure sports betting sites. The Texans are the better team, but despite their performance on MNF, they have struggled lately.

Tennessee are unlikely to win this game, but they can keep it close enough to cover the spread. C.J. Stroud has seemingly hit the sophomore slump, and I do not trust the Texans to win this divisional game by double-digits.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears Odds and Best Bets

Speaking of the Vikings, they take on the Bears in Chicago this week. This is the Bears’ second NFC North game of the season, and they are coming off another heartbreaking loss to the Packers. Minnesota is a 3.5-point road favorite in Bovada’s Week 12 NFL odds.

The Vikings offense looked better in Week 11, bouncing back from their near loss to the Jaguars. Sam Darnold had 246 passing yards and a pair of touchdown passes in the win over Tennessee. There are still plenty of issues to be concerned about, such as Aaron Jones, who led the team in rushing with just 39 yards on the ground on Sunday.

Chicago has more than its fair share of problems as well and has lost four straight games. Minnesota’s defense is tied for the third-most sacks this season with 35 and should feast against the Bears’ porous offensive line. I expect the Vikings will win and cover the spread on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders Odds and Best Bets

Washington has had extra time to stew over its TNF loss to the Eagles. The Commanders have lost back-to-back games but are 10-point favorites over the Cowboys in Bovada’s NFL week 12 spreads. Dallas has not won since Week 5, and even the Cowboys’ stadium is falling apart.

Cooper Rush has failed to recreate his winning ways from the 2022 season, but the offense did look better against Houston. The Commanders’ defense has allowed 334.8 YPG but only gives up 22.1 PPG. Dallas, by contrast, has allowed 365.7 YPG and 29.3 PPG this year.

Jayden Daniels needs a standout performance to cement his Rookie of the Year status, and I think he will have one this week. The Cowboys’ poor rush defense will not be able to handle the Commanders. Washington should win and cover the 10-point spread at home this Sunday.

New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins Odds and Best Bets

The divisional matchups continue with the Patriots (3-8) taking on the Dolphins (4-6) in Miami. New England’s playoff hopes are all but dashed, but they can still play spoiler to their AFC East rival, the Dolphins. Miami is a 7-point favorite at home in the current NFL football odds for Week 12.

Making the postseason will be challenging, but the Dolphins are not eliminated from playoff contention yet. Their offense is back at full strength now that Tua Tagovailoa has shaken off the rust from his IR stint.

Miami has scored at least 23 points in every game since Tua’s return, and their offense should be too much for the Patriots on Sunday. The Dolphins are likely going to win but covering a touchdown spread in a divisional game will be tough.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Carolina Panthers Odds and Best Bets

The Chiefs’ 15-game winning streak ended with their Week 11 loss to the Bills. That is bad news for anyone who bet Kansas City to go undefeated, and it is even worse news for Carolina fans. Kansas City is a 10.5-point road favorite against the Panthers in the opening NFL lines for Week 12.

Patrick Mahomes and company’s struggles to score were bound to catch up with them eventually. The Chiefs should be able to work through their offensive issues and their frustrations this week against the Panthers. Carolina is allowing 31 PPG this season, which is the most of any team in the NFL.

Conversely, the Chiefs’ defense has allowed just 19.1 PPG, the eighth-fewest in the league. Kansas City will almost certainly win, and their dominant defense will help them cover the spread in Carolina.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New York Giants Odds and Best Bets

Tampa Bay lost four straight games heading into its Week 11 bye. The good news for the Buccaneers is that Atlanta has lost back-to-back games, so Tampa still has a shot to win the division. The Bucs are 5.5-point favorites this week against the Giants.

Baker Mayfield and Co. are heavy road favorites in the NFL spreads for Week 12 but winning will be easier said than done. Tampa’s defense allows the third-most yards per game this year (389.3 YPG). They also face a relative unknown, with Tommy DeVito taking the reins of the Giants’ offense.

DeVito went 3-3 as a starter when he was forced into the Giants lineup. He only averaged 122.3 PYG, but he also had an 8-3 TD-INT ratio. The Giants’ defense and DeVito’s efficient play will be enough for New York to cover the spread, but Tampa should win on Sunday.

Detroit Lions vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds and Best Bets

Detroit (9-1) beat Jacksonville 52-6 last week, and thanks to the Chiefs losing against the Bills, the Lions now have the longest active winning streak in the NFL. Detroit is a 7-point road favorite against Indianapolis in the early NFL Week 12 lines.

The Lions have scored 52 points in two of their three matchups against the AFC South this season. This is their third straight game against the division, and they can complete the sweep with a win in Indianapolis. Indy pulled off the upset over the Jets last week, but they are unlikely repeat the feat this week.

Anthony Richardson will struggle against the Lions’ defense, which has allowed seven passing touchdowns, tied for the fewest. Detroit has also allowed the fifth-fewest rushing yards (948) this season, so Jonathan Taylor will also likely struggle. Detroit can win and cover on the road.

Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds and Best Bets

Denver’s dominant 38-6 win over the Falcons helped keep the Broncos in the hunt for an AFC Wild Card spot. Bo Nix and company have another favorable matchup against the Raiders. Denver is a 5.5-point road favorite in the NFL betting lines for Week 12.

The Raiders have lost six straight, including a 34-18 loss to Denver in Week 5. Las Vegas’s offense has mustered just 285 YPG, third-lowest, and 18.7 PPG, tied for eighth-lowest in the NFL. Denver, on the other hand, has scored 28 or more points in three of its last five games.

Bo Nix and the Broncos’ offense should have another great offensive performance this week. However, beating a divisional opponent, especially one with nothing to play for, can be tricky. Denver is likely to win, but I expect the Raiders will cover at home.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds and Best Bets

Seattle shocked the 49ers last week and has a chance to take over first in the NFC West this time around. The Seahawks are 1-point home favorites against the Cardinals in the NFL Week 12 odds. Arizona had a bye last week and should be well-rested for this crucial divisional matchup.

The Seahawks defense held San Francisco to just 277 total yards last week. On the other hand, 131 of those yards came on the ground. Arizona has a top-five rushing attack, averaging 149.4 rushing YPG and 12 rushing scores this year.

If Seattle cannot contain the Cardinals’ on the ground, they have no chance on Sunday. I think Arizona is a good bet to secure the upset this week and maintain the top spot in the NFC West.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Green Bay Packers Odds and Best Bets

San Francisco’s loss last week has put the 49ers in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. They will face another playoff-hopeful team this week in Green Bay against the Packers. These teams know each other well and have met three times in the playoffs in the last five seasons.

Green Bay is a 2.5-point home favorite in the early NFL odds for Week 12, 2024. Both teams love to run the ball, with the Packers averaging 149.9 rush YPG and the 49ers coming in at 147.8 rush YPG. San Francisco has been better at stopping the run, which could give them the edge this week.

The 49ers are also the more desperate team and could significantly improve their playoff chances by beating another Wild-Card team like the Packers. San Francisco needs this game, and I think they will pull off the upset over Green Bay this week.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Los Angeles Rams Odds and Best Bets

LA’s offense has been better recently, but their offensive line will face a significant test on Sunday. Matthew Stafford has avoided sacks in three of his last four games, but the Dolphins brought the QB down four times in their Week 10 matchup. I think the Eagles’ defense will harass Stafford from start to finish, allowing the Eagles to win and cover this week.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds and Best Bets

Rounding out the NFL Week 12 betting odds is an AFC matchup between the Ravens and the Chargers. Baltimore lost 18-16 to Pittsburgh last week, but they are the 3-point favorites for the Harbaugh Bowl. This will be John and Jim Harbough’s first head-to-head matchup since Super Bowl 47.

John is 2-0 so far against Jim, but the Chargers have the momentum heading into this game. LA held off the Bengals on SNF to improve to 7-3 and secure its fourth straight win. Baltimore, conversely, is 2-2 in its last four games, and both of its losses came against divisional opponents.

The Ravens’ defense has been the worst at defending the pass this season. LA likes to run the ball, but Justin Herbert can air the ball out when needed. I think Herbert and the Chargers will do enough to win this game outright on Monday Night Football.
