Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions Odds and Best Bets

The NFL Week 14 odds open with an exciting and consequential NFC North matchup between the Packers (9-3) and the Lions (11-1) on Thursday Night Football. Detroit has won 10 straight games and is a 3.5-point home favorite in this matchup.

Green Bay is one of the many teams to lose to Detroit in its current winning streak, falling 24-14 to the Lions in Week 9. On the other hand, the Lions have suffered multiple defensive injuries since then, which could give the Packers an edge this weekend.

If both teams were healthy, the Lions would be the easy pick in this game. However, Detroit has 18 players on IR, the most in the NFL, and I think their injuries finally catch up to them this week. I expect the Packers to kick off Week 14 with an upset win over the Lions in Detroit.

New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins Odds and Best Bets

The AFC East clash between the Jets (3-9) and the Dolphins (5-7) is another divisional matchup on the schedule this week. Miami is a 7-point home favorite in the latest NFL odds for Week 14 at top offshore sportsbooks. The Dolphins struggled against the Packers on Thanksgiving in the cold, but they should have an easier time this weekend.

New York, on the other hand, has won just one game since its 2-1 start. Another loss by the Jets this week would move Gang Green one step closer to officially being eliminated from the playoffs. Aaron Rodgers and company had a hot start last week before the Seahawks’ comeback win, but I do not think they will repeat the performance this week.

Miami had enough rest after playing on Thanksgiving, so the team should be rested and prepared for the upcoming match. The Dolphins should win this game and cover the spread, reigniting their momentum toward a late playoff push.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Minnesota Vikings Odds and Best Bets

This Sunday’s matchup between the Falcons (6-6) and the Vikings (10-2) is not a divisional battle, but it will have massive playoff implications. Atlanta is a 5-point underdog in the Week 14 NFL odds, but the Falcons need a win to stay in control of the NFC South.

Minnesota also needs a win to stay in the hunt for the NFC North title, currently held by the Lions (11-1). The Vikings also bring a five-game winning streak into this matchup, while the Falcons have lost three in a row.

It’s important to note that Kirk Cousins is coming off a four-interception game and has not thrown a touchdown pass in three straight games.

The Vikings’ defense has racked up 39 sacks this season, the fourth-most in the NFL. Minnesota will have plenty of chances to sack Cousins, who is significantly less mobile after his Achilles injury last year. The Vikings’ defense will hit Cousins early and often, potentially ruining his return to Minnesota. That should be enough to secure a victory in this one.

New Orleans Saints vs. New York Giants Odds and Best Bets

Bovada’s NFL football odds for Week 14 list the Giants (2-10) as 5-point home underdogs this week against the Saints (4-8). New Orleans is coming off a tough 21-14 loss at home to the Rams. Likewise, the Giants lost last week to the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, giving Dallas its first home win of the season.

New Orleans is the clear favorite against a Giants’ team that has lost seven straight games. However, it is tough to count the G-Men out, as the Saints have had their fair share of struggles. Taysom Hill tore his ACL on Sunday, and will join Chris Olave on IR.

More than ever, the Saints’ offense and ability to win games will fall on the shoulders of running back Alvin Kamara. If New York sells out against him, they can win this game. The Giants have not announced a starting quarterback, so betting on them is risky, but I think New York will pull off the upset at home this weekend. 

Carolina Panthers vs. Philadelphia Eagles Odds and Best Bets

Philadelphia dominated the Ravens last week in Baltimore, largely thanks to another MVP-type performance from Saquon Barkley. The Eagles (10-2) can move another step closer to securing the NFC East title this week with a win over the Panthers (3-9). Bovada has Philly available as a 12-point favorite against Carolina in its latest NFL lines for Week 14.

The Eagles have been very impressive this season and should win this game. However, this matchup has all the makings of a classic trap game.

Philly will have a natural letdown after their big win last week, and, despite being 3-9, the Panthers have played well lately.

Philadelphia’s closest wins this season have come against teams they were expected to dominate. This week could follow that trend, with the Eagles winning a relatively close game against the Panthers. A 12-point spread will be too much for Philly to cover this weekend.

Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers Odds and Best Bets

The Browns upset the Steelers on Thursday Night Football in Week 12, and nearly pulled off another upset last week. Despite their recent success, Cleveland (3-9) is a 7-point road underdog in their rematch with the Steelers (9-3) this weekend.

Jameis Winston racked up 668 passing yards on Monday Night Football, which would be a single-game NFL record. Unfortunately for Winston and the Browns, 171 of those yards were to the wrong team. Winston’s three interceptions included two pick-sixes and a game-sealing turnover late in the fourth.

Pittsburgh’s defense struggled to stop Winston the first time around, and had even more issues last week against Joe Burrow. However, the Steelers did beat the Bengals, and they need to even the season series with the Browns this week. Pittsburgh wins, but Cleveland will cover the spread in a tight AFC North matchup.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Odds and Best Bets

Tampa Bay (6-6) fell out of the NFC South race due to a four-game losing streak. However, thanks to the Falcons’ struggles, the Buccaneers are back in the playoff hunt. Tampa is a 6.5-point favorite at home this weekend in Bovada’s NFL spreads for Week 14.

The Bucs host the Raiders (2-10), who are coming off a close loss to the Chiefs on Black Friday. Las Vegas’ defeat last week was the eighth in a row, and the team has not won since beating the Browns in September.

Tampa Bay needed overtime to beat the Panthers last week, but a win is a win. The Buccaneers should be more buttoned-up this weekend, beating the Raiders and covering the 6.5-point spread on Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans Odds and Best Bets

The two worst teams in the AFC South square off this week as the Jaguars (2-10) face the Titans (3-9) in Tennessee. Jacksonville is a 3.5-point road underdog in early NFL Week 14 lines at safe betting sites. Betting on a team like Tennessee is risky, but this could be one of the rare instances where the Titans have the better quarterback.

Jaguars’ quarterback Trevor Lawrence was knocked out by a late hit on Sunday and could miss this game. Texans’ LB Azeez Al-Shaair was suspended for the hit that put Lawrence out of commission. Mac Jones played well in relief of Lawrence, racking up 235 passing yards and two touchdowns in the 23-20 loss to Houston.

Jones is 0-2 as a starter this season, and did not throw a touchdown pass in his previous starts. Tennessee is not a good football team, but they are the healthier squad and are at home. The Titans should win, but if the same Mac Jones from last week shows up, the Jaguars can at least cover the spread.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals Odds and Best Bets

Seattle (7-5) beat Arizona (6-6) 16-6 in Week 12, claiming the top in the NFC West in the process. A desperate Cardinals’ team has a chance at revenge this week as these divisional opponents finish their regular season series. Arizona is a 3-point home favorite in Bovada’s NFL Week 14 projections.

Arizona lost last week, falling 6-6 on the season. However, the Seahawks are only 7-5, so the Cardinals could tie their record with a win at home this weekend. Beating Seattle is easier said than done, and the Seahawks are 4-1 in road games this season.

The Cardinals struggled in their first matchup, but they had two weeks to figure out how to move the ball against the Seahawks. Seattle also had to dig itself out of a 21-7 hole last week in New York. The travel and emotional letdown after their comeback win should be too much for Seattle to handle this weekend. 

Buffalo Bills vs. Los Angeles Rams Odds and Best Bets

Buffalo dominated San Francisco in the snow on Sunday Night Football last week, securing the Bills’ fifth straight AFC East title. They are still competing for the top seed in the conference and need to win this week to keep pace with Kansas City. Buffalo is a 4.5-point road favorite against LA in the current NFL Week 14 spreads at Bovada.

The Rams (6-6) could be tied for the best record in the NFC West with a win this weekend. Beating the Bills is easier said than done, as evidenced by Buffalo’s seven-game winning streak. LA’s offense could cause issues for Buffalo, though, especially if the Rams can protect Matthew Stafford.

The QB has been sacked 28 times this year, just two fewer than his total from last season. LA has also allowed 144.2 rushing yards per game this year, so James Cook and Josh Allen could have another big day on the ground. That should be enough for the Bills to win and cover the 4.5-point spread this weekend at SoFi.

Chicago Bears vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds and Best Bets

Chicago (4-8) and San Francisco (5-7) have had their fair share of frustrating losses recently. The 49ers have been outscored 73-20 in their last two games. To make matters worse, Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Mason were placed on IR this week.

Winning without their two best running backs is a tough ask for a 49ers team that has struggled on offense all season. Despite their injuries, San Fran is a 3.5-point home favorite against the Bears in the NFL betting lines for Week 14. Chicago fired its head coach, Matt Eberflus, after another frustrating loss on Thanksgiving. 

A coaching change often sparks a team to a win, and the 49ers are vulnerable. Considering that, I think the Bears will not only cover this week, but Caleb Williams and company could win this game outright on Sunday.

Los Angeles Chargers vs. Kansas City Chiefs Odds and Best Bets

Week 14’s Sunday Night Football matchup is an AFC West showdown between the Chargers (8-4) and the Chiefs (11-1) in Kansas City. The Chiefs are 4-point favorites in the opening NFL Week 14 betting odds. Kansas City has been more lucky than good recently, and this could be the Chargers’ best chance to take down the defending champions.

The Chiefs beat the Chargers 17-10 in their first matchup earlier this season. Kansas City scored 17 unanswered points and held the Chargers scoreless after the first quarter.

Los Angeles’ defense has been excellent this season but has struggled recently, especially against the run. Kansas City has Isiah Pacheco back and should have a great day on Sunday.

If the Chargers bottle up Pacheco, they will have a chance to win this game. However, they must do it without J.K. Dobbins, who has been placed on IR. The Chargers can cover the spread, but they are unlikely to beat the Chiefs at Arrowhead this weekend.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Dallas Cowboys Odds and Best Bets

Rounding out the NFL Week 14 best bets this week is a Monday Night Football record between two teams with losing records. Cincinnati (4-8) is coming off another heartbreaking loss, while Dallas (5-7) has won back-to-back games. Despite their two-game win streak, the Cowboys are 5-point underdogs at home this Monday.

Dallas beat the Giants on Thanksgiving, securing their first home win of the year. They will also be the more rested team, with more than a week to recover for this MNF game. The Cowboys’ defense has played better since Micah Parson returned.

Cincinnati, on the other hand, has wasted Joe Burrow’s MVP-level season, and its defense has been atrocious. Burrow should put up great numbers again this week and lead the Bengals to a win. However, I do not think Cincinnati’s defense is good enough to beat any team by five or more points.
