How Do I Use The Bovada Prop Builder?
Bovada covers a wide array of player prop bets across a variety of sports. Whether you are an NBA betting, NFL betting, or sports betting enthusiast for another major sport, there are Bovada prop bets for every type of bettor.

1. How To Find The Bovada Prop Builder
There are two simple options for finding the Bovada Prop Builder.
- From the Bovada home page, click on the Sports tab at the top of the page.
- The Props Builder button is located at the bottom of the navigation bar on the left-hand side of the screen
Option 1
After selecting Sports, locate the navigation bar on the left-hand side of your page. The Props Builder button is located at the bottom of the navigation bar.
Once you click on ‘Props Builder’, you will see an extensive list of Bovada prop bets. Bovada has player props for major North American sports leagues and elite European soccer prop bets.
Option 2
You can also find a more limited version of their Prop Builder on the event page for each game, below the point spread and total options section.
On the taskbar, which includes other props, select Prop Builder to gain access to a wide variety of Bovada props.
2. Select Your Sport and Build Mode
Now that you’re on the Bovada Prop Builder page, you can select the sport that you would like to bet on. The sports that are currently available for wagering are located in the top navigation menu.
- Select the sport that you would like to find player props for at Bovada.
- After selecting your sport, you will need to click the Build Mode button. Build Mode is outlined with a red border just below the sports icons across the top.
TIP: If you forget to click the red Build Mode button and just click on a matchup, you’ll bypass the Prop Builder and only have access to the standard Game Market Bovada player props.
3. Select Your Matchup
Next, you’ll want to find the event that you are interested in betting on.
- The red bar on the Bovada Props Builder page will show your selected sport and a drop-down menu for matchups will be displayed.
- Click on the drop-down menu and a list of games will expand on your screen.
For this example, the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Las Vegas Raiders game is selected for the December 14th matchup on Thursday Night Football.
4. Building Your Prop Bet
Find the Build Your Bet subtitle on the right-hand side of the page. Under Build Your Bet, you will find these three different types of prop bet wagers:
- Stat
- Combined
- H2H (Head To Head)
Stat
The Stat bet at Bovada is a prop that measures a player’s output in a particular game. Closely related to Over-Under betting, the player will have to eclipse a total for the wager to win.
Unlike a traditional Over-Under wager, bettors will have discretion when it comes to setting the total. They will not be bound by the oddsmaker’s number. The stats available for wagering will depend on the sport and the player’s position.
Let’s look at an example featuring the Rams’ starting QB against the Saints:
We have selected Rams’ QB Matthew Stafford from the list of available players. After selecting your player, you must confirm which stat you want to bet on. For QBs, there are Touchdowns (rushing), Passing TDs, Passing Yards, and Pass Interceptions available.
After selecting your wager, the next step is building your bet based on the minimum threshold of yards, touchdowns, or interceptions that the player will achieve. Receivers will have options for receiving yards and receptions, while running backs have rushing yard props included.
The odds will adjust based on your selection. The larger the total, the bigger the payout for a winning prop bet.
In this example, we created a prop bet that has Stafford passing for at least 320 yards against the Saints. As a result, the odds are +420 on Stafford to pass for at least 300 yards.
By selecting the minus button, the yardage needed to win the bet will drop, but so will the odds. The odds on Stafford to pass for at least 120 yards are -5000.
The flexibility that the Bovada Prop Builder affords gamblers like this is our favorite feature of this exclusive betting tool.
Combined
The Combined wager is the unique bet available in the Bovada Prop Builder. Rather than having just one player on your bet slip, you can include multiple players in the same bet to help your wager reach the necessary threshold.
The stats for each player will be combined and taken into consideration for settling the bet. This option provides bettors with a bit of insurance, in case one player falters. You can even include members of opposing teams on the same ticket.
Let’s take a look at an example featuring Raiders’ Davante Adams and Chargers’ Keenan Allen:
After selecting Combined, we added Allen and Adams to the bet slip. We selected Receiving Yards for the bet type. This created a prop where Allen and Adams must combine for at least 200 yards at +167 odds.
In this case, the production from both players will be used to decide the bet. For instance, if Adams has 112 yards while Allen finished with 90 yards, then the bet is a winner. Adams and Allen combined for a total of 202 yards.
If you adjust the yardage, you will impact the odds. For at least 100 yards receiving, the odds are -770 for this prop bet.
H2H
The head-to-head prop bet feature is a unique and exclusive option in the Bovada Prop Builder. As its name implies, the H2H prop bet pits one player against one another. Whichever player finishes with more yards, touchdowns, completions, and so on, will be the winner of the bet.
For the QB H2H bet, there are wagers for Passing TDs, Passing Yards, Pass Completions, and Pass Attempts.
This example features the Denver Broncos vs. Detroit Lions matchup:
We added Jared Goff and Russell Wilson to our Build Your Bet ticket. In this example, Goff will have more “X” than Wilson. If you click on Select Statistic, you will be able to pick from the statistics we mentioned earlier.
If you accidentally have your players in the wrong position, simply select the small rotate button to flip them. In our example, this would switch Wilson to having more of a particular statistic than Goff.
5. How To Create A Prop Bet Parlay
The Bovada Prop Builder also allows bettors to build a parlay ticket, known as a multi-wager. After you’ve created a bet, click the Add to Bet Slip button to add the prop to your ticket.
Instead of confirming the single bet, head back to the Build Mode page. Create as many player props as you’d like, and add them to your parlay ticket by selecting Add to Bet Slip.
For our bet to win, Amon-Ra St. Brown must have at least 95 receiving yards, Courtland Sutton needs to score a touchdown, and Jahmyr Gibbs must rush for at least 43 yards. If any of the selections are unsuccessful, then the bet loses.
However, the payout will be more significant if all three bets win. For this same example, the multi-bet pays +650 for a winning ticket.

6. Enter Your Stake and Confirm The Bet
The final step is to review your prop bet selection, enter the amount you wish to wager, and confirm the bet. Ensure that everything is correct before you proceed since all results are final after you’ve confirmed your bets.
We suggest only risking a small percentage of your bankroll. Regardless of what you are betting on, bankroll management is the key to being a successful sports bettor.

- Bovada Prop Builder wagers cannot be combined with other bets in the sportsbook.
- The prop bets in their builder have their own set of rules; they are separate from standard wagers in the sportsbook.
