Both teams to score; +125 (Romania vs. Netherlands)
Both sides have been involved in entertaining games so far in the tournament. Romania has scored four and conceded three goals, while the Netherlands have a 4-4 goal difference after the group stage.
Contrary to the expectations, the Dutch defense has been abysmal. The team allowed multiple opportunities in all games up to this point, so I expect more of the same against Romania. The Eastern Europeans play with purpose and penetration in attack.
On the downside, they often struggle defensively, so keeping a strong Dutch attack at bay seems unlikely. I’m not sure why the odds for both teams to score are so high, but this is definitely one of the best bets at the EUROs today.
Over 2.5 goals; -115 (Austria vs. Turkey)
Five out of the six games that involved Austria or Turkey have produced 3 or more goals. The only exception is Austria’s clash with France, who have the strongest defense in the entire EURO 2024.
If you exclude this one, you will find goals! Both sides have struggled to keep clean sheets and relied almost exclusively on their attack to progress to the knockouts.
Austria scored three goals against both the Netherlands and Poland, while Turkey found the net three times against Georgia and twice against Czechia.
We have all the ingredients for a wild match on Tuesday, and I won’t be shocked to see 4+ goals in this one. The odds of -115 for over 2.5 look fantastic, so I’m more than happy to take this wager.
