Cleveland Guardians @ Baltimore Orioles - June 24, 2024

Alright, folks, it’s that time again! The Baltimore Orioles are gearing up to face off against the Cleveland Guardians tonight, and as a die-hard Orioles fan, I can’t help but feel confident in our team’s chances.

On the mound for the Orioles is Cade Povich, who may not have the most impressive win-loss record at 0-1, but don’t let that fool you. With a solid 3.4 ERA and over 8 strikeouts per game, he has the potential to shut down the Guardians’ lineup and keep us in the game.

Now, when we look at our batting stats, it’s clear that we have the firepower to support our pitching staff. Averaging over 5 runs and nearly 9 hits per game, our offense has been clicking on all cylinders. Our batting average of 0.249 may not be the highest in the league, but when paired with a strong on-base slugging percentage of 75.7%, we know how to get runners on base and bring them home.

With Cade Povich dealing on the mound and our potent offense putting pressure on their pitching staff, I believe we have what it takes to secure a victory.

As for the over/under prediction for tonight’s game? I’m going to go with under. I think both pitchers will bring their A-game and keep this matchup relatively low-scoring.
