29-year-old Shant has his eyes set on winning Hell’s Kitchen after rising through the ranks to Corporate Executive Chef. Shant enters Ramsay’s kitchen with a myriad of accomplishments on his resume.

The Syrian native arrived in Los Angeles at 10 years old and pursued a career working in the restaurant industry as a teenager. He enrolled at the Institute of Culinary Education’s Los Angeles campus and immediately rose up the ladder.

He did his staging at the Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park before moving back to California and earning an externship at Thomas Keller’s The French Laundry.

Currently, Shant is the corporate executive chef of two restaurants inside the Glenmark Hotel in Glenmark, CA. Could his quick ascent as a successful chef take him to Foxwoods Resorts to lead Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen?

By all accounts, he appears like the clear frontrunner and likely Hell’s Kitchen Season 23 winner heading into this year.

Egypt, 31, should give the rest of the chefs a run for their money on Hell’s Kitchen this season. The Executive Banquet Chef is currently employed at The Country Club at Mirasol, a private, gated community in Riviera Beach, FL.

Born and raised in Chicago, Egypt describes his childhood as being not as fortunate as other families. His passion for cooking flourished after watching Ramsay on Hell’s Kitchen for the first time.

Witnessing the famous chef surrounded by food and his success, he notes that it motivated him to never have the feeling of being hungry again. Egypt’s big break happened at 17 years old after meeting master chef Edward G. Leonard.

Leonard took Egypt under his wing, teaching him everything he needed to know for seven years. The young cook’s journey took him to the private community of The Country Club at Mirasol, where he continues to impress with his cooking ability today.

Egypt is an easy guy to root for on this season of Hell’s Kitchen. He will likely emerge as the fan favorite, but will it be enough for Ramsay to hire him as the new head chef at Foxwoods Resorts?

The 36-year-old Executive Chef got her passion for cooking from her grandmother. She initially learned the craft from her, and Lulu took those skills to blossom into a highly sought-after chef.

Lulu diverse culinary experience led her to a Disney Scholarship, which she parlayed into working in the Epcot’s Canada Pavilion. Afterward, her career skyrocketed, with jobs at the Four Seasons under Maurizio Ferrarese.

After traveling the world and working on cruise ships, Lulu caught the attention of The Ritz-Carlton’s Garret Gooch in Amelia Island, where she currently works as the Executive Chef at this prestigious location!

I have Lulu ranked slightly ahead of Egypt, but behind Shant. She should nevertheless be a top contender to catch Ramsay’s attention in the kitchen!
