He heated up for 26 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field! Also, Gayle Jr. went 4-of-6 from deep in an impressive effort from the perimeter. He is shooting 55.6% from three with five three-pointers during the NCAA Tournament.

Since March 15 against Maryland in the Big Ten Tournament, Gayle Jr. has connected for at least one three-pointer in three of four matchups.

Loyer had 10 three-point attempts against McNeese State in the Round of 32. He could have been more efficient, but still hit three shots from deep in the winning effort.
