ACM Awards Predictions and Odds — Who Wins on One of Country Music’s Biggest Nights?

We have ACM Award predictions for you, based on the odds for the 60^th edition of the Academy of Country Music Awards! Reba McEntire returns to host at the Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas. Who will come out on top in the biggest categories during the ceremony, which can be seen on Amazon Prime on May 8, 2025?

I’ll give you my best 2025 ACM Award predictions for this event, and summarize all my picks at the end of this article!

Here are my quick ACM Awards predictions, but I’ll go into further detail if you read on and give you my analysis for each category!

ACM Album of the Year 2025 Odds and Predictions

There is a solid group of nominees for Album of the Year, led by Lainey Wilson’s Whirlwind (+100), which got to eighth on the Billboard 200. Jelly Roll’s Beautifully Broken (+250) is next, and he continues to fuse country music with hip-hop sensibilities. The album reached the top of both the Billboard 200 and the Billboard Top Country Albums charts.

Megan Moroney’s Am I Okay? (+300) is in the mix, along with Zach Top’s Cold Beer and Country Music (+450), and Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion (+450). Despite Malone reaching the top of the Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts, this is his first “pure country” album, so that works against him.

The album is very good, but I don’t think the Academy will reward his first try as it might seem like a gimmick. Malone’s album, along with Whirlwind, was nominated for Best Country Album at the Grammys, where they were beaten out by Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter.

Wilson had a great ACM Awards in 2024, winning Entertainer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year. I expect her to add Album of the Year to her resume at ACM Awards odds of +100. Jelly Roll offers a slightly higher return than Wilson, and the two won Music Event of the Year at last year’s ceremony for their remix of his “Save Me” record.

However, Wilson’s album is amazing and should win this one.  

ACM Awards Best Entertainer Odds and Prediction

Morgan Wallen (+175) might be the hottest country artist on the planet right now, and even an impromptu early walkout at “Saturday Night Live” hasn’t hurt his standing in country music.

Jelly Roll (+200) is next in a loaded category, followed by Cody Johnson (+450), Wilson (+500), Kelsea Ballerini (+600), Chris Stapleton (+750), and Luke Combs (+1000). Of this year’s nominees, Wilson (2024) and Stapleton (2023) are past winners.

I’ve got to back Wallen as the favorite in my ACM Awards predictions, as he is more popular than ever, and his album, I’m The Problem, doesn’t come out until May 16. That album will be one of the most popular ones of 2025, so don’t overthink it and bet on Morgan Wallen at +175.

ACM Female Artist of the Year Odds and Prediction

Kelsea Ballerini (-200) is a sizable favorite in this category over Wilson (+240), Kacey Musgraves (+550), Ella Langley (+600), and Moroney. Ballerini’s Patterns topped the Top Country Albums chart, and got as high as fourth on the Billboard 200. She is still looking for her first win in this category, but this is her eighth nomination.

Wilson has won the last two years, while Musgraves won back in 2019. Langley and Moroney are nominated for the first time, and I’ll probably cross them off the list.

That leaves Ballerini, Wilson, and Musgraves, and I’m going to take Wilson at +240 as the value bet here! Whirlwind was one of the top albums of the year, and while Patterns is also good, I’m leaning on the fact that Whirlwind was nominated in that category.

At +240, you can’t beat that ACM Awards price, so let’s take Lainey Wilson to win her third straight Female Artist of the Year award!

ACM Awards Male Artist of the Year Odds and Prediction

Wallen (-200) is the considerable favorite here over Luke Combs (+240), Jelly Roll (+550), Johnson (+600), and last year’s winner, Stapleton (+600). Stapleton also won this award in 2016, 2018, and 2022. Wallen won in 2023, while Jelly Roll and Johnson are looking for their first win.

I’ll take those two out of the category, as well as Stapleton, who hasn’t released an album since 2023’s Higher. That leaves Wallen and Combs, and again, don’t overthink it.

Wallen is dominating country music right now and is the most obvious winner in this category. I actually expected to see odds of around -300 for him, so take Morgan Wallen’s ACM Awards odds of -200.
