Here’s our latest soccer parlay for today, January 25, and you can find the reasoning behind each leg after that.

  • Pick 1: Liverpool vs. Ipswich: Liverpool Total Goals Over 2.5 (-212)
  • Pick 2: Man City vs. Chelsea: Both to Score and Over 2.5 Goals (-185)
  • Pick 3: PSG vs. Reims: PSG Total Goals Over 2.5 (-112)

  • Total Parlay Return: +329

The odds above are available at Bovada, one of our favorite sites for soccer betting. With that in mind, let’s talk about each leg next!

Liverpool vs. Ipswich: Liverpool Total Goals Over 2.5 (-212)

Liverpool remains at the top of the Premier League with 6 points to spare and a match in hand. Now they’re going up against Ipswich, a relegation zone team that hasn’t gotten any points on the board from the last 2 matches.

As things stand right now, Liverpool is averaging 2.38 goals per game. They’ve scored 50 goals in 21 matches, and I believe they’re going to have an above-average goalscoring session against Ipswich.

Liverpool is in fine form too, having beaten Brentford away from home in the EPL and Lille in the Champions League just 2 days ago. Liverpool hasn’t scored above 2 goals in their last 3 matches, and it’s time for a big victory. So, at -212, I’m going with Liverpool to score over 2.5 goals on Saturday.

Man City vs. Chelsea: Both to Score and Over 2.5 Goals (-185)

Here’s this weekend’s derby – Manchester City is set to face Chelsea this Saturday afternoon. The Citizens are the favorites, but I wouldn’t trust either side with a moneyline bet.

They’ve been everything but consistent this season. Manchester City’s consistency issues have traversed from the EPL to the Champions League, too.

They’re going up against what was supposed to be one of their main title challengers. Instead, both teams are miles away from Liverpool and need every point they can get their hands on.

One thing is certain – both City and Chelsea will play attacking, aggressive soccer tomorrow. We’re bound to see goals on both ends in what could easily turn into a proper goal fest. Plus, the odds for both teams to score and total goals over 2.5 goals are currently set at -185, which isn’t half bad considering the attacking strengths of both teams.

PSG vs. Reims: PSG Total Goals Over 2.5 (-112)

Finally, the third part of our three-way parlay is a Ligue 1 contest between PSG and Reims. On one end, we have in-form PSG who are top of the Ligue 1 with 9 points to spare. Plus, they’re coming off a resounding victory against Manchester City just 2 days ago. On the other end, we have Reims who haven’t won a Ligue 1 match since early November last year.

Obviously, the odds for PSG to win this one aren’t going to cut it. As for the spreads, it’s too risky considering PSG had a tough match against City and are likely to rest key players, both in defense and offense.

However, we can still go for total goals over 2.5 because, as things stand right now, PSG is averaging 2.67 goals per match. I expect this one to be above average. At -112, there’s plenty of value here, especially in our parlay.
