Ohio State Betting Props

First, let’s take a look at a trio of Ohio State CFP playoff betting props that you’ll find at college football betting sites!

Anytime TD – TreVeyon Henderson (-110)

The senior running back is Ohio State’s leading rusher with 967 yards, but the Buckeyes were blessed with two good backs as junior Quinshon Judkins had 960 yards. Judkins also had 12 touchdowns to 10 for Henderson, who had two scores each in Ohio State’s wins over Tennessee and Oregon. He didn’t find the end zone on the ground against in the win over Texas, while Judkins got a pair against the Longhorns. However, Henderson broke out for a 75-yard receiving touchdown in that game!

I’ll take Henderson at -110 over Judkins at -125 for the betting value, although it wouldn’t surprise me if both Ohio State running backs made it to the end zone in Atlanta!

The Bet
HENDERSON ANYTIME TD

Jeremiah Smith Longest Reception – Over 29.5 (-115)

Smith has probably been the best freshman in the nation, racking up 1,227 yards and 14 touchdowns on 71 catches. However, Texas set out to frustrate Smith, who had just one catch for three years on the day. But that allowed quarterback Will Howard to spread the ball around.

That said, Howard is going to look to Smith early and often in the CFP Playoff title game against Notre Dame, and I can see him breaking at least one reception for more than 29.5 yards. At -115, I see a lot of value in this CFP Playoff betting prop!

The Bet
SMITH OVER 29.5 YDS

Carnell Tate Total Receptions – Over 3.5 (+120)

As he did in the Texas game, Smith will get a lot of attention from the Fighting Irish. That means someone has to step up, and against the Longhorns, it was Tate. The sophomore had seven catches for 87 yards, while Emeka Egbuka added five catches for 51 yards.

Give me Tate to catch more than 3.5 passes at plus money at offshore sportsbooks all day long!

The Bet
TATE OVER 3.5 REC.

Notre Dame Betting Props

Next, let’s which Notre Dame CFP Playoff betting props catch my eye!

Anytime TD – Jeremiyah Love (+120)

The sophomore running back has had a great season, rushing 159 times for 1,121 yards and 17 touchdowns. Furthermore, Love hasn’t fumbled once all season long! He has scored in two of three CFP Playoff games for the Fighting Irish, in wins against Indiana and Penn State.

If the Fighting Irish get down close to the goal line, they’ll want to be prudent with the ball and not turn it over. That means giving the ball to either Love or quarterback Riley Leonard, who had 16 rushing touchdowns. I’ll take Love at +120 at online sportsbooks here.

The Bet
LOVE ANYTIME TD (+120)

Total Passing Yards – Riley Leonard Over 167.5 (-115)

I’ve picked the Buckeyes to win the 2025 CFP College Football Championship Game, and I think they’ll run away with it in the second half. That’ll put pressure on Leonard, a senior, to throw the ball more than he’d like to. Leonard completed 66.4% of his passes this season for 2,606 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

He has eclipsed 167.5 yards in two of three CFP Playoff games, and while he had just 90 yards against Georgia, Leonard ran for 80 yards as the Fighting Irish found success on the ground. I think he’ll get over 167.5 yards simply because of the volume he’ll have to throw, so consider this CFP Playoff betting prop at -115!

The Bet
LEONARD OVER 167.5 YDS

First Score Method – Field Goal (ND) (+475)

Ohio State has had, arguably, the best defense in the country all season long. They’re also atop the stats in red-zone scores per game, and opponent offensive touchdowns. I feel that’s the path to a win for Ohio State, is to lean on their defense to wear the Notre Dame offense down.

If Notre Dame gets within field-goal range, they have to take the points. Senior kicker Mitch Jeter is 13-of-20 on the season, but he is 7-of-8 in the playoffs, including a 41-yarder with seven seconds left to lift Notre Dame to the win over Penn State. At +475, this is a great betting value option in your CFP Playoff betting props!
