Best NCAAM Championship Game Player Prop Bets (With Reasoning)
Let’s explore the reasoning behind our best college basketball props today, April 7:
Total Points: Alex Condon (FLA) Under 8.5 (-125)
Florida’s starting center Alex Condon will look to get on track following another dismal offensive performance recently. Condon wasn’t any threat whatsoever to Auburn in the Final Four matchup. He finished with one point on 0-for-5 shooting from the field.
It’s been that kind of year for Condon, as consistency on the offensive floor has been a problem for him throughout the season. Overall, Condon has averaged 10.5 points per game on 49.1% shooting. The Australian has had strong games in the past, but this has typically been against weak interior defenses.
That hasn’t been the case versus tough and physical defenses like the Houston Cougars. He’s failed to get on track during the NCAA Tournament as well. Note that Condon has scored an average of 4.75 points per game through the last four games.
The only matchup Condon eclipsed 10 points during March Madness was in the tournament opener versus Norfolk State. I don’t believe Houston will allow Condon to get comfortable, so the under 8.5 points is a solid option for your NCAA Championship player prop bets!
Total Points: Alijah Martin (FLA) Over 11.5 (-130)
Although Condon may not step up offensively, I am confident in guard Alijah Martin having a productive performance. All focus from the Houston defense is going to be on trying to limit Walter Clayton Jr.
In other words, expect some space on the floor to open up for Alijah Martin. Martin is often overlooked due to Clayton Jr.’s presence, but he’s a solid contributor to the Gators. The 6’2” senior has scored 14.6 points per game on 45.8% shooting from the field.
Martin is coming off a quality effort versus the Auburn Tigers in the Final Four. He poured in 17 points on 60% shooting. The native of Summit, MS, has finished with at least 14 points in four of five tournament games. Additionally, Martin buried a minimum of 13 points in seven of his previous nine outings.

I am high on Martin in the national title game, so consider him to go over 11.5 points. In short, this is one of the best college basketball player prop bets tonight!
Total Points: L.J. Cryer (HOU) Over 17.5 (-115)
Houston’s identity is all about their defense, but don’t sleep on the offense. Most notably, guard L.J. Cryer is a spark plug in the backcourt. Cryer has been one of the most underrated players in college basketball this season and is one win away from receiving his much-deserved credit.
The 23-year-old senior heads into the national championship averaging 15.6 points per game on 41.4% shooting. He’s a multi-talented guard who can get hot from deep or cut to the rim in the paint. Cryer has shot an impressive 42.7% from three-point land in 2024-25!

He went off against the Duke Blue Devils on 6-of-9 shooting from three in the Final Four. So, if Houston needs a player to go toe-to-toe with Clayton Jr., Cryer is capable of shooting the lights out. He also chipped in with 26 points for another stellar effort in this tournament.
He’s averaging 18.6 points per game on 45.2% from three in the NCAA Tournament. The Gators’ defense is beatable, as they’re 88th in the nation, allowing an average of 69.8 points per matchup. In review, I recommend Cryer over 17.5 points for your NCAA National Championship player props tonight!
