Johnson helped salvage Jared Goff’s career and turned the Lions into one of the best offenses in the NFL. Like Brady, Johnson (38) is a young candidate with no NFL head coaching experience. However, he is also a uniquely skilled offensive mind who can help Prescott reach the next level.
Detroit has had one of the best offenses in the NFL the last two years under Johnson. However, a lot of the Lions’ success is due to the aggressiveness of their head coach, Dan Campbell.
Cowboys’ Next Head Coach Longshot Bets
After the top three, the odds for the next Cowboy’s coach drop off significantly. However, there is value in betting on dark horses. The two candidates who stand out the most to me are Brian Flores and Aaron Glenn.

Dallas is the latest and, most likely, the last franchise to enter the search for their next head coach this offseason. Despite having a delayed start, the Cowboys’ brand could help them attract head coaching candidates.

That leaves Brady, who is listed at +300 to be the next head coach in Dallas. Brady helped Buffalo’s offense reach a new level by empowering Josh Allen to true MVP status. He could work similar magic in Dallas.
That’s critical for the franchise because Jones signed Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb to new four-year deals ahead of this season. Prescott is due $240 million over his deal, while Lamb is set to make $136 million.
