Dana White’s Contender Series odds for Week 4 are available now at BetOnline! Currently, prices are available for four of the five fights scheduled in Las Vegas.

All four bouts indicate lopsided odds for the betting favorites. Shannon Clark, Will Currie, and Igor Cavalcanti all have a better than 75% implied probability to win their fights at UFC betting sites.

Are these heavy prices worth betting on, or should you consider the large underdogs? You can find up-to-date Dana White’s Contender Series 2024 odds at BetOnline by navigating to Sports > Martial Arts > DWCS Week 4 2024.

Latest Dana White’s Contenders Series Episode Recap

Four more MMA fighters signed deals with the UFC after Week 3 of Dana White’s Contender Series. Malcolm Wellmaker, Marco Tulio, Bogdan Grad, and Andrey Pulyaev. I had three of these four in my Dana White’s Contender Series picks for last week, so it was a successful effort.

Tulio was the heaviest favorite and made no mistake in Round 2 with a fight-ending kick to the liver to Matthieu Duclos. But, the most impressive performance of the night had to go to Wellmaker! He ended the night in the opening round with an impressive right to the face of Adam Bramhald.

Now, let’s dive straight into my Dana White’s Contender Series Week 4 betting picks below:

Igor Cavalcanti vs. Seok Hyun Ko Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

  • Igor Cavalcanti (-310)
  • Seok Hyun Ko (+250)

Online bookies expect Igor Cavalcanti (9-0) to win the main event at the Apex in Las Vegas this week! The undefeated fighter will look to improve to 10-0 as a pro MMA fighter after catching the attention of Dana White.

Cavalcanti has made it too hard for the UFC to ignore him! All eight of his fights were finished in the opening round. He won seven via KO/TKO and two with a submission in his pro career.

In his latest effort, Cavalcanti beat Paulo Mauricio Junior in just 42 seconds at Inside Fighters’ League 13. Three of the Brazilian’s previous four wins didn’t even reach the one-minute mark! He’s incredibly aggressive and wastes little time in the ring.

If Seok Hyun Ko (10-2) has his defensive guard down for a second, Cavalcanti will seize the moment to end his UFC dreams. Seok is on a three-fight win streak and didn’t need much time in his latest bout, either. He defeated Alwin Kincai in 58 seconds of Round 1 on Dec. 8.

As the No. 2 rated welterweight in South Korea, Seok’s grappling skills are above average. This is going to be one of the toughest grapplers Cavalcanti has ever seen, so if he can’t end this fight early, there will be an opening for Seok!

Cavalcanti has been impressive, but the quality of his opponents has been sub-par. Seok has a chance in this one, so I’d take the betting value on the Korean at +250!

The Bet
Seok Hyun Ko

Will Currie vs. Djorden Santos Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

  • Will Currie (-400)
  • Djorden Santos (+300)

English fighter Will Currie (12-3) will look to impress White enough to earn himself a UFC contract. There is a high likelihood that Currie will get it done here. At least according to oddsmakers, he has an 80% implied probability of winning!

Given his recent form, bettors are reaching favorably to the well-rounded fighter. He has won seven of his previous eight bouts against respectable opponents in Cage Warrior. In his latest fight, Currie defeated Leon Aliu after he retired after Round 1.

Note that four of Currie’s last five wins have been before going to the judge’s scorecards. And again, he is a well-rounded fighter who can win in multiple ways, including on the ground with a submission or KO/TKO.

The 25-year-old known as “Drago” has six wins by submission and four by TKO/KO. He’s also had two wins via a decision, so Currie has shown his versatility! Note that Djorden Santos (9-1) has a respectable record, but who has he fought?

His opponents have largely consisted of low-level opponents. Santos comes from the Thunder Fight promotion, where he most recently registered two wins against Miguel Firmino and Filipe Moitinho. Neither offered any resistance, but I don’t see him being able to handle the step up to Currie.

The favorite can end this fight in multiple ways, so I expect a win before the final bell. That said, I don’t see much value at -400. If you’re going to lay -400 odds on this Dana White’s Contender Series betting pick, I’d add it to a parlay with our next selection!

The Bet
Will Currie

Shannon Clark vs. Yuneisy Duben Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

  • Shannon Clark (-500)
  • Yuneisy Duben (+375)

Shannon Clark (5-0), known as “MMA Barbie”, is a monster favorite to defeat Yuneisy Duben (5-0) in Week 4 of Dana White’s Contender Series. Clark has ripped through the competition in LFA.

She is a perfect 5-0 in LFA and continues to improve as a fighter in the promotion. In her latest attempt, Clark submitted Thaiany Lopes with a bulldog choke. It was her second straight impressive victory in the promotion, enough to warrant a promotion to Dana White’s Contender Series!

While I don’t know if Clark is destined for a long and successful UFC career, she should handle an opponent like Duben. The 28-year-old Duben is coming from a lower promotion in 300 Sparta and FFC.

She sports a perfect record but lacks in grappling talent as opposed to Clark. If she wants to win, it’s going to come with an unexpected blow to the Canadian fighter. Clark’s defense is likely too strong to allow this to happen, though. I give Duben a puncher’s chance, but it’s a considerably longshot. Again, Clark has zero value at -500, but worth adding in a parlay with Currie!

The Bet
Shannon Clark

Quillan Salkilld vs. Gauge Young Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

  • Quillan Salkilld (-205)
  • Gauge Young (+165)

Quillian Salkilld (6-1) comes over from Australia looking to make some noise at Dana White’s Contender Series! The 24-year-old has a huge opportunity after making easy work of Dom Mar Fan at Eternal MMA 82.

With multiple tools in his arsenal, Salkilld is not the easiest lightweight for opponents to get a feel for. He’s won three fights via submission and two by KO/TKO in his professional career.

He’s the superior grappler to Gauge Young (8-1), who excels in the stand-up game. That’s going to be the issue for Salkilld in this fight. If he can’t get this fight to the ground where he’s most comfortable, Young is going to have a great chance to end the bout on his feet.

Each of his last three wins have been via strikes. His only loss is by an armbar to Bobby Lee in 2022. If Young can stay out of Salkilld’s grasp, he’ll have a fantastic opportunity to end this fight with his fists.

I do not have Salkilld down as a -205 betting favorite. He should probably be closer to -150 to -170, so there is no value on the moneyline here. In short, consider backing the underdog American to impress the boss enough to get consideration from the UFC!

At +165, the top bet has to be on Young to get the win at BetOnline!
