The Brutalist (-240) is a convincing favorite to win Best Motion Picture in a Drama. At -240, Brady Corbet’s breakout film has a 70.6% chance of winning top honors.
According to the latest Golden Globe Awards 2025 odds, only Conclave (+220) has a chance of threatening an upset. The way I see it, both films are deserving of winning the award for Best Motion Picture.
However, Adrien Brody’s performance in The Brutalist puts this film over the top. Brody portrays a talented Hungarian-Jewish architect who flees Europe and moves to the US after surviving a Nazi concentration camp.
It’s received rave reviews from critics on all outlets. The Brutalist scored a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Moreover, Metacritic is overwhelmingly positive, with a rating of 91%!
I strongly believe that The Brutalist should be a -375 favorite to win for Best Motion Picture in a Drama. In short, while -240 doesn’t provide the best return, there is still an argument to be made to back The Brutalist!

Mikey Madison and Anora (-250) have generated a ton of hype this award season. Many pundits have the movie dominating the awards show circuit, including the Critics Choice Awards and Academy Awards.
However, I don’t identify any value on Anora at -250. The comedy-drama centers around a sex worker who runs away to Las Vegas with a Russian customer she met at a strip club. They ultimately get hitched in Las Vegas, igniting anger from his oligarch family back in Russia.
It is a well-done movie and a tremendous laugh, yet the musical Emilia Perez is more Golden Globe-worthy in my opinion. The Globes absolutely adore this film, which received the most nominations at this year’s event.
Emilia Perez, starring Selena Gomez, is about a Mexican drug lord who undergoes gender-affirming surgery to become a woman. I find the film far more riveting and engaging than Anora.
Despite winning the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, I am fading Madison’s award-winning work in favor of Emilia Perez at +250! This is excellent betting value that is tough to pass on for your Golden Globes predictions!

Madison is expected to capture the Best Performance by a Female Actor award for portraying Anora in Anora. Although this wasn’t my favorite film of the year, let’s give credit where credit is due.
I don’t think we would be talking about Anora as a Best Motion Picture contender if it wasn’t for Madison’s effort. The film falls short in some regards, but I can’t criticize her work and ability to carry the movie.
It doesn’t reach these heights on Mark Eidelstein’s performance or anyone else in the movie. I certainly believe that Karla Sofia Gascon can win this award as well.
She is well deserving of the honor, though I expect Madison to hold on for the win. With this in mind, Madison is your best bet for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Musical or Comedy at the 2025 Golden Globes!

The Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Musical or Comedy is a competitive category. At least, according to the latest odds, it is projected to be a close race between Jesse Eisenberg, Glen Powell, and Sebastian Stan.
That being said, I don’t see it the same way. From my estimations, Eisenberg should run away with the win for his role in A Real Pain. Eisenberg brings it in his portrayal of David Kaplan in the comedy alongside Kieran Culkin.
Eisenberg was nominated for a Golden Globe for The Social Network in 2011. He came short of winning the award, but this looks like his to claim at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards.

To close out our best Golden Globes bets, I want to bring attention to the Best Supporting Female Actor in a Motion Picture category. The most up-to-date suggests that it’s a two-woman race between Zoe Saldana and Adriana Grande.
However, Saldana is a step ahead of the rest in this group. She brings everything together for the terrific film Emilia Perez. Perhaps she doesn’t have a recognizable name as Grande, but most certainly deserves credit for his role as Rita Mora Castro in this musical.
As a -225 favorite, Saldana should be closer to -400 here. If it wasn’t for Grande’s star appeal taking some of the money at online betting sites, Saldana would be in the clear as a -375 to -450 favorite.
