Grand National 2024 Odds: Who Wins At Aintree?

Trainer Lucinda Russell has a good horse in Corach Rambler. The 10-year-old gelding made a name for himself last year at the Grand National 2023., after the horse had a late bid to win by 2 ¼ lengths at the wire.

It was the second consecutive win for Corach Rambler, as he won a month earlier at Cheltenham. Despite failing to win over his previous three wins since last year, Corach Rambler is coming off a strong showing at the Cheltenham Gold Cup once again.

Corach Rambler showed in 3rd as a +1400 runner against a competitive 11-horse field. Overall, dating back to January 2021, Corach Rambler has won 7 out of 16 races in his career¹.

Winning back-to-back Grand National crowns is not easy. In 2019, Tiger Roll became the first horse to win consecutive Grand National titles since the 1970s.

Nevertheless, the latest 2024 Grand National odds give Corach Rambler the edge at +550. Jockey Derek Fox will run after a ruling for a whip infraction will be delayed until April 16.

Vanillier is back at the Grand National looking to do one better than last year. The gelding put forth a big run but finished 2 ¼ lengths short of Corach Rambler.

He hasn’t won a race since November 2021, but has consistently run in contention. The nine-year-old trained by Gavin Cromwell is likely going to be in the mix on the final stretch again in the Grand National 2024.

In 21 career races, Vanillier has finished 3rd or better in 13 events which equals 62%r³. The French gelding is on the heels of a strong showing to only finish behind I Am Maximum at Fairyhouse.
