LFA 150 Odds and Predictions

LFA 150 Odds and Predictions

LFA 150 is putting on a massive card, with bets available on twelve pro bouts. The LFA 150 odds feature a four fight parlay, and the fight tape leads us to two confident underdog picks.

LFA 150 Predictions

LFA 150 has only money lines, but we could see prop bets to drop early Friday on Bovada and Betonline.ag.

  • Ary Farias -245
  • Thomas Petersen -1050
  • Mark Climaco -300
  • Jalin Fuller -151
  • Mitchell McKee -624
  • Quang Le -900
  • Mitchell McKee -624
  • Jackson McVey -750
  • Wes Schultz -125
  • Santos Verdinez -240
  • Adamu Isah -425
  • Connor Penka +240
  • Gary Konkol +170

As you can see, a majority of favorites are obvious winners in our LFA 150 betting picks.

LFA 150 Odds for Parlay Tickets

There are four easy picks for a parlay ticket. The LFA 150 odds for this four fight ticket is -167, a $60 return per $100 wagered. If you’re going to drop anyone, consider Petersen, who’s facing the most experience of the parlay opponents in spite of his massive +750 position.

Henry Huff +600 vs Quang Le -900

Le is a massive favorite after an undefeated pro career with two first round finishes. His amateur record includes multiple footlock submission wins, but several knockout losses. Huff would be a stronger favorite if he had knockout power. He’s a submission machine, but struggles against complete athletes. This is a Quang Le blowout, and after he stops Huff’s early takedowns, he wins against the cage and in open striking. This is the strongest parlay pick of the fight.

Richard Foster +750 vs Thomas Petersen -1050

This is the most lopsided fight in all of MMA this weekend. The LFA 150 odds for Petersen have dropped from -1100, presumably because bettors are looking for the 8x return from Foster. With six pro finishes by knockout and a razor close bout with now UFC fighter Waldo Cortes-Acosta, Petersen is set to smash the 38 year old Foster. Foster is a grappler who’s been knocked out twice in four fights. Foster is one of the more talented fighters that Petersen has faced, but an aging heavyweight with repeated knockout losses is tough to bet on.

Ira Lukowsky +449 vs Mitchell McKee -624

Undefeated Kill Cliff FC Fighter McKee is blazing through opponents. Lukowsky is a showman, who’s been fighting since 2011 and smashed two pros, including undefeated Alberto Montes via knockout. His loss to Wendel Araujo revealed his main weakness, grappling defense. McKee needs to be smart here and get the takedown early, but with back to back ground strike finishes, I don’t think it’s something we need to worry about.

Deven Paulsen +550 vs Jackson McVey -750

A 6-1 amateur making his pro debut, McVey is a submission specialist who’s only loss was to Wes Schultz. Paulsen has boxing and striking experience, but he can’t stop losing by submission. He lost by submission three times straight from 2021-2022, and four times over the course of his ten fight career. We can’t think of a worse opponent for Paulsen and a better one for McVey. Clearly looking to start his pro days out with a win, McVey is our fourth parlay pick.

LFA 150 Value Betting Picks

The majority of these picks fall into the value bet category. Our recommendation is to spread your bets out over these picks, and we’ve ordered them from most to least confident.

Mark Climaco -300 vs Miguel Sanson +240

Sanson is the underdog at 4-0 and an 8 fight pro-am winning streak. He faces the toughest test of his career in Climaco, an AKA fighter who’s only loss was to title contender Yama Horiuchi. Sanson had no problem besting fighters in his amateur career, but his pro showings have been a struggle. Climaco has offered four undefeated fighters their first loss, and he’ll beat Sanson in every aspect of the game to make it five.

Dylan Budka -105 vs Wes Schultz -125

Schultz hasn’t lost since 2019. Winning nine showings straight including all three pro bouts. Budka had a similar amateur run, but lost his pro debut. A wrestler at heart, Budka may struggle against the BJJ centered style of Schultz, especially considering he’s the better kickboxer. Shultz will have the reach advantage, and was an All American NCAA wrestler himself. Budka is fantastic, but Schultz is just a touch better.

Darius Miller +190 vs Santos Verdinez -240

Both men are submission focused fighters, but Verdinez is more seasoned, making him the favorite. Miller is still only a blue belt, and at 28, he’s a little late to the grappling game. Verdinez submission wins over multiple undefeated amateurs offers him the edge in this fight, and our place as the second best value bet on the LFA 150 odds.

John Sweeney +195 vs Ary Farias -245

Our main event features the 12-3 Farias, who just went to a draw at UFC Fight Pass Invitational. He’s 2-1 over his most recent fights, getting knocked out by Marcos Breno in 56 seconds. Sweeney is a karate style striker, and he demonstrated knockout power against lower level fighters, but he hasn’t scored a KO in three bouts since knocking out 8-5 Dre Miley. Farias is lightyears ahead of Sweeney on the ground, and Sweeney’s takedown defense is not up to par. Farias is a value bet teetering on a parlay.

Jalin Fuller -151 vs Scott Writz +121

The underdog is on a vicious four fight finishing streak, making 12 for his pro-am career. Fuller is a Duke City MMA fighter, and while he’s faced better fighters overall, he’s 1-2 in the last three fights. With both fighters being finishers, we’re wishing Betonline or one of the top UFC betting sites offers us the Under 2.5 rounds bet. In its absence, we think Fuller has it. Writz has been knocked out in the past, and it could easily come down to who’s chin is better.

Adamu Isah -425 vs Ganbat Bayasgalan +325

Both bantamweights are undefeated, but Isah has proven himself beating an undefeated Mateo Gonzalez and 5-1 Eimar Hernandez in the amateurs. Mongolian standout Bayasgalan is fresh off a win at ONE FC, but gives up significant height and reach. Isah is a major favorite, but we’re excluding him from our parlay and dropping him to value bet. He’s talented, but too young to be reliable.

LFA 150 Odds for Underdog Bets

Penka is our top underdog, a lanky fighter facing a straight wrestler. Konkol is a close second, facing a journeyman fighter from a team notorious for chewing up mid level fighters. Konkol will come out on top because of experience, but also because Alpha Male fails to adapt to up and coming athletes.

Connor Penka +240 vs Kyle Zimick -300

Zimick is coming off a loss to make his pro debut against the undefeated Connor Penka. It’s tough to find anything about Penka, who’s a Kansas local and has some real heart. He got outwrestled early in his last bout, but went on to win the decision. If he can survive the Zimick wrestling onslaught, he can win the decision. Zimmick doesn’t have any discernible stand up, but made multiple grappling mistakes in the fight tape we could find.

Gary Konkol +170 vs Isaac Thomson -210

Submission machine Konkol has multiple first and second round submission finishes, active since 2015. A favorite out of Team Alpha Male, Thomson is coming fresh off a TKO loss, but only has five pro-am fights on record. Konkol has lightyears more experience, and he’s never been knocked out. Konkol is clearly the guy being brought out to lose here, but we aren’t so sure. Thomson’s BJJ game looks underdeveloped, so we’re taking the underdog position, but betting light.

A Great Pool of Value Bets at LFA 150

The rule for this card is; don’t spend your money in one place. The LFA 150 odds are worth placing multiple bets, and we think you’ll see a better return if you build a full card ticket rather than dumping your money into one parlay.
