Our three fight parlay includes Polastri, Bilharinho, and Michael Oliveira. These fights combine to make a +195 bet!

LFA 151 Odds

The majority of these picks are for the favorite. Our two upsets include Matheus Rocha, and the big underdog Joabson Alves. Bet light on Alves, a longshot where both fighters have been TKO’d in their first three fights, and bet more aggressive on Rocha.

Gabriel Santos +275 vs Jose Delano -400

The undefeated Gabriel Santos is a massive underdog in spite of a 9-0 run as a pro. He’s coming off a crushing win of Marcio Barbosa (13-1) last November. His last three opponents carry a combined record of 37-9, holding steady with Delano’s average. Delano hasn’t lost a fight since 2015, and wins over future UFC fighters and division champions litter his record. Fight tape reveals the major differences in their ability, and while we’re avoiding the parlay, look to Delano as a value bet. Santos is good, but his opponents to date are a lower caliber than Delano in spite of their records.

Brenda Gottig +170 vs Julia Polastri -225

Polastri is an easy pick, and she should be in the UFC. She ran into Jasudavicius in her DWCS run, just two fights after crushing Jessica Delboni in a second round TKO. She has some of the best hands in the women’s strawweight class world wide. Meanwhile, her opponent is 6-0 against Middle Eastern competition. Aside from her last fight, her combined opponent pro record is 3-11. Polastri is a candidate for parlay, and one we’d consider adding, even about Alexia Thainara.

Milson Castro vs Anderson Ferreira

This fight is a last minute addition after Roosevelt Roberts dropped. No odds are released yet, but we expect Castro to run through Ferreira. He had more prep for this fight, and Castro’s submission style is the absolute bain of Ferreira, who likes to engage in bottom position grappling. LFA 151 odds for this bout should be live shortly.

Caio Machado -105 vs Jonas Bilharinho -125

We had Jonas beating Delano back at LFA 126. He crushed the undefeated Pedro Lopes in the fight that followed, and the fact that he’s only a -20 above the 16-7 Machado is strange. Machado is a gatekeeper that has lost to four future UFC and Bellator fighters, but his history of being knocked out doesn’t serve him. Jonas has serious finishing power and an odd style that’s difficult to train for. We’re happy to consider Jonas Bilharinho the top value bet of the LFA 151 odds.

Marciano Ferreira -115 vs Mateus Brauns -115

Booked as the closest fight at  LFA 151, these men have similar records and styles. Brauns has less losses and an amateur career, offering him more experience and a larger pool of fighters. He’s also fought a lower class of fighter overall, but he’s taken signinaly less damage. Ferreira has been cut up in many fights, taking home bloody wins over fighters like Tiago Xavier. Bet the Brauns will beat him in a narrow decision between perfectly matched athletes.

Marco Tulio Silva -575 vs Well Oliveira +365

Silva is a Diego Lima stand out with five pro finishes.  His opponent is a 35-19-1 fighter that’s been finished nine times including multiple knockout losses. Oiveira will fight anyone, anywhere. That’s not necessarily a good thing. Silva will win by a dominant decision or knockout, and it’s enough to make him our second parlay pick of the card.

Jefferson Nascimento -230 vs Matheus Rocha +175

This is a battle between undefeated fighters. Rocha is stepping up a weight class to fight a more experienced fighter. Nascimento isn’t just a welterweight, he’s a submission specialist with 4 finishes. However, Rocha is taller, younger, and works with some fantastic coaching staff. His knockout finishes put him miles beyond Nascimento’s striking. We see the first upset of the night! Rocha beats Nascimento with a predictable sprawl and strike strategy.

Cassio Barao -575 vs Lucas Barros +365

Barros is no joke at 7-2, with three finishes since 2017. He’s fighting the undefeated JJ Barao, who’s racked up seven first round wins since 2014. At only 27 years old, Barao has been active since 18, and he’s  a BJJ black belt and 6 times Mundial competitor. Barros is going to get messed up unless he’s swinging for the fences. We put Barao as an easy addition to the parlay of LFA 151.

Gabriel Souza Galindo -700 vs Lucas Escobar +425

The undefeated Galindo is a submission specialist, repping a 5-0 record of submission finishes over a combined opponent record of 7-2. Escobar is 3-1 coming off a split decision win, and limited BJJ experience. We’re expecting Galindo to win via submission early, but this should be  a decent test of Galindo’s chin. Keeping this one off the parlay for now, if only because Galindo has never fought someone with any TKO power at all.

Clever Souza +450 vs Michael Oliveira -750

The 2-1 Clever is a lanky 6’1’’ featherweight who’s paired up with the knockout machine that is Michael Oliveira. I don’t know if this guy kickboxed more than his record is letting on, he’s tough to find information on. His fight tape shows three knockouts in the first round, and his finish of then 2-0 Elder Costa was just ridiculous. Souza’s been knocked out before, so we’re tacking the Oliveira win onto our Parlay pick.

Joabson Alves +500 vs Manuel Robson Minoto -900

Alves is 1-2 on back to back losses, all during 2022. Minoto is 1-0 in MMA with two losses in kickboxing matches, including a TKO loss in 2021. We have no reason to think either man is far better than the other, and Minoto’s first round TKO against the debuting Allan Oliveira doesn’t read as a -900 win. We’re calling for a light bet on the upset pick. Alves has TKO power, and Minoto has been knocked out before. We advise avoiding Minoto’s LFA 151 odds for our parlay.

Gabriela Fujimoto -375 vs Laryssa Leila +260

Gabby Fujimoto is undefeated in back to back finish wins and a decorated BJJ competitor. Her opponent is coming off a loss, but her amateur Muay Thai and MMA bouts put her at about four times the experience of Fujimoto. We’re seeing a slight advantage for Fujimoto, who appears more physical than Leila. Use this LFA 151 betting pick as a value bet.

LFA 151: A Night for Big Favorites

We’re seeing a trend in the last four or five major shows; promoters looking for obviously one-sided bouts and fighters who are willing to take a beating. This is a great thing for bettors. Highly competitive bouts are a tough read, and a three-fight parlay of clear winners is always better than a favorite of the same odds. Take a good look at what’s available this weekend, and develop a parlay of your strongest winners across multiple shows.
