Dallas dominated Minnesota in their playoff matchup last season, winning the series 4-1. The Mavericks are currently fourth in the West and poised for another playoff run, but the Timberwolves are 10th in the conference. MVP candidate Luka Doncic is a big part of the Mavericks success.

Boston’s offense is designed around shooting the three. The Celtics lead the NBA with 51.0 three-point attempts per game. They are also fourth in scoring, averaging 119.6 PPG. Philly, on the other hand, has had to play most of the season so far without perennial MVP candidate Joel Embiid.

Los Angeles (16-12) is first in the Pacific Division and sixth in the Western Conference. Golden State (15-12) is second in the division and a half-game behind the Lakers in the conference standings. However, the Lakers have been playing much better than the Warriors as of late.

Denver’s path to victory is simple: rely on the three-time MVP Nikola Jokic. Jokic is playing at an MVP level again this season, but the rest of the team has failed to meet expectations. Phoenix has also struggled this year and is currently 11th in the conference.
