NBA betting sites have a variety of players on the board for their NBA trade deadline rumors. Currently, BetOnline has seven players rumored to be on the move to new teams.

The player with the highest odds of being moved is the Utah Jazz’s Jordan Clarkson. Clarkson is the only player with even odds of packing up his bags for a new city.

According to NBA trade deadline odds, Clarkson has a 50 percent implied probability of being traded to the New York Knicks. After trading for OG Anunoby, the Knicks may not be done yet.

NBA Trade Predictions

Now, let’s dive into our NBA trade deadline predictions and make our NBA next team best bets:

Andrew Wiggins Next Team Prediction: Dallas Mavericks (+300)

The Mavericks are favored at +300 to trade for Golden State Warriors’ forward Andrew Wiggins. The Canadian has regressed in his 11th season in the NBA. Nevertheless, a change of scenery could be what Wiggins needs to find his stroke again.

With a likely trade in his future, Wiggins is going through the motions on the Warriors. He could still be helpful to a squad like the Mavericks, however.

According to reports, it appears that the Mavericks are the most interested in trading for Wiggins. If they can figure out a deal with the Warriors, there is a good chance Wiggins is heading to Texas.

Bogdan Bogdanovic Next Team Prediction: Los Angeles Lakers (+900)

Aside from a trade that the Atlanta Hawks can’t ignore, Bogdan Bogdanovic is likely staying in Georgia. The Hawks aren’t going to be motivated to move Bogdanovic without a special trade offer.

That said, if he is traded, consider the Los Angeles Lakers making a possible play on him. Bogdanovic would instantly give the Lakers a lift in the backcourt. Bogdanovic’s scoring touch would be greatly beneficial to the Lakers in the postseason.

Bogdanovic to the Lakers is worth taking a shot on at +900 odds.

Bojan Bogdanovic Next Team Prediction: Minnesota Timberwolves (+300)

Unrelated to Bogdan, the Detroit Pistons’ Bojan Bogdanovic is expected to be a hot commodity at the NBA trade deadline. Unlike Bogdan, the Pistons are openly shopping the 34-year-old small forward.

Amid a historically bad season, the 6-43 Pistons need to get younger. The 34-year-old Bogdanovic is not in their long-term plans.

However, the 35-15 Minnesota Timberwolves would potentially be a good fit for Bogdanovic. He doesn’t make them significantly better, but being slightly better could push the Timberwolves into a deep postseason run.

Initially, the Philadelphia 76ers were a strong pick at +500 odds. However, with Joel Embiid’s injury, we are not sure that they’ll bite. The Timberwolves at +300 is a smart bet to acquire Bogdanovic.

DeMar DeRozan Next Team Prediction: Miami Heat (+200)

With the Bulls expected to sell at the trade deadline, Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan’s names have been talked about often.

After former Toronto Raptor Kyle Lowry was a bust with the Heat, does the front office take a chance on another former Raptor? The 34-year-old DeRozan still has some legs on him.

In his 15th season, the veteran guard is scoring 22 points per game on 46.5 percent shooting. Additionally, DeRozan is averaging 4.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per contest.

With the Knicks and Heat as his likely preferred destinations, a deal to Miami makes plenty of sense. He’s a hard-working veteran that would work well with Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.

At +200 odds, DeRozan to the Heat is a top NBA trade deadline bet.

Jordan Clarkson Next Team Prediction: New York Knicks (+100)

The Knicks may not get DeRozan, but Clarkson is a strong possibility. After trading for Anunoby, the Knicks could really make waves by acquiring the 6-foot-3 point guard.

Clarkson, the 2020-21 NBA Sixth Man of the Year, has had his best years in the NBA with the Jazz over the last five years. However, Clarkson would have a chance to improve his career prospects on a winning team in a lucrative NBA market.

With Julius Randle suffering a dislocated shoulder last week, the addition of Clarkson would be seamless for the Knicks. Clarkson might be their top choice, with Kelly Olynyk an option, as well.

Keldon Johnson Next Team Prediction: Orlando Magic (+300)

The Pistons are favorites to trade for San Antonio Spurs’ small forward Keldon Johnson. They are interested in building a young core, and a 23-year-old Johnson could be part of their long-term plan.

However, Johnson would likely prefer a trade to Orlando.  At 27-23, the Magic have a slim advantage over the Heat in the Southeast Division. Johnson doesn’t make them NBA title contenders, but he is a solid depth piece who could certainly help in the NBA Playoffs.

Markelle Fultz would likely be the main centerpiece of a trade for Johnson. Subtracting Fultz and adding scoring from the wing wouldn’t hurt. With Jalen Suggs and Anthony Black in charge of the backcourt, Fultz is a strong candidate to be moved at the trade deadline.

Johnson should be a prime target for the Magic to swap with Fultz and draft picks. We like Johnson going to the Magic for one of our NBA trade predictions.

Tobias Harris Next Team Prediction: Sacramento Kings (+200)

The Sacramento Kings are one of a few Western Conference teams that need another piece added to the puzzle before being taken seriously as legitimate contenders.

Following Embiid’s injury, many fans are expecting the 76ers to buy, but there isn’t a player on the market that would come remotely close to replacing his talent. Instead, trading Tobias Harris is a likely scenario.

After failing to land Anunoby or Pascal Siakam, the Kings might be looking closely at Harris. On an expiring contract, the Kings could use Harris as a rental for a postseason run in the spring. Ultimately, there is a good chance of him remaining in Philadelphia, but the Kings are a compelling team.

The 29-19 Kings already have an established foundation with De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis. The addition of Harris, however, as another scoring option has a chance to tilt the power in the West toward Sacramento.
