The 2025 NCAA Lacrosse odds favor Maryland to win the National Championship this season. That’s hardly a shocker since the team already has four national titles, with the Terrapins’ most recent win coming in 2022.
Plenty of teams are gunning for the undefeated Terrapins, but only one school can claim the championship this season. This guide will highlight the latest NCAA Lacrosse title odds. I will also break down the top contenders and share my predictions for this year’s National Champion.
NCAA Lacrosse 2025 Winner Odds
Here are the updated NCAA Men’s Lacrosse odds, courtesy of BetUS.
- Maryland (+275)
- Notre Dame (+375)
- Cornell (+700)
- Syracuse (+725)
- North Carolina (+725)
- Army (+1000)
- Penn State (+1100)
- Johns Hopkins (+1200)

- Georgetown (+2000)
Maryland is the +275 favorite to win it all this season. The Terrapins are closely followed by Notre Dame, listed at +375. The reigning champions dominated Maryland in the championship game last year, beating the Terrapins 15-5.
The odds fade quickly after the top two. Cornell is third at 7-1, with Syracuse and North Carolina rounding out the top five at +725 each.

Top Favorites for the NCAA Lacrosse 2025 Title
The collegiate lacrosse regular season is winding down, and the championship favorites are breaking away from the pack. Let’s take a closer look at the top three favorites to win the NCAA Lacrosse National Championship this season.
Maryland (+275)
Maryland entered the 2024 Lacrosse Championship tournament as a seventh seed. The Terrapins beat Princeton, Duke, and Virginia to make it to the championship game. Maryland’s run ended in a crushing 15-5 loss to Notre Dame.

A year removed from their loss in the title game, Maryland has been dominant this year. They started the year with a perfect 7-0 record and have scored double-digits in all but one game during their undefeated start.
The Terps’ defense has also been great this season, allowing just 49 goals, which is the second-fewest. Maryland has the third-best scoring defense with 7.0 PPG, behind only Army (4.57) and Fairfield (6.88). They have only allowed one opponent to reach double digits through seven games this season.
This team is delivering all over the field and deserves your attention. It looks like last year’s humiliation in the championship game has angered Maryland, and the Terrapins are determined to get their revenge.
Notre Dame (+375)
Notre Dame has won back-to-back NCAA lacrosse tournaments. The Fighting Irish have also won two out of the last three ACC conference titles in lacrosse. They are available at +375 to win the championship this year.
Their title defense this year started well, with Notre Dame outsourcing opponents 57-24 during their 3-0 start. They are second in points per game this year with 15.83 PPG.
The Fighting Irish’s luck changed at the start of March. They lost to Maryland on a neutral site 11-10. Then, Notre Dame dropped another game to Ohio State, losing 10-9 to the Buckeyes.
On the bright side, Notre Dame overcame its offensive struggles in its 19-7 win over Michigan in Ann Arbor. However, the back-to-back losses knocked Notre Dame down to seventh in the latest Men’s College Lacrosse Rankings. Their recent championship success makes it challenging to doubt Notre Dame, though.
The question here is whether Notre Dame can stop the surging Maryland Terrapins again.
Cornell (+700)
Cornell is a distant third in the latest NCAA lacrosse odds at +700. Big Red has not won the NCAA tournament since its back-to-back titles in 1976 and 1977. They were the runner-up in 2022 but lost to Maryland.
CJ Kirst shot a perfect SIX-for-SIX against Denver 🎯🎯🎯

Senior CJ Kirst has been the driving force behind Big Red’s 5-1 start. Kirst is seventh in points (40) and fourth in goals (28) in all DI lacrosse. He is also first in goals per game, averaging 4.67 GPG this season.
Cornell’s defense has been its most significant weakness so far this season. Big Red has allowed opponents to score an average of 9.67 PPG this year, which ranks 23rd. The team can still deliver a deep run, but beating the big guns with such a shaky defense will be really hard.
Best NCAA Lacrosse Sleepers
Maryland’s dominant start has made the Terrapins the favorite to win the NCAA Lacrosse Championship this season. However, Maryland’s run to the title game as a seventh seed last year proves that underdogs are viable options for bettors.
Here are three sleepers to watch in this year’s NCAA lacrosse odds.
NCAA Lacrosse 2025 Winner Prediction and Betting Pick
Maryland is the betting favorite in the latest NCAA lacrosse betting odds for a reason. The Terrapins have run through all of their opponents this year, and it is challenging to see anyone stopping Maryland.
Their loss last season has given the Terps all the motivation they need to go on a title run. Maryland’s suffocating defense has overwhelmed teams, and I expect that to continue once the postseason starts.
The odds for the favorite are high enough, so I’m backing Maryland in my title prediction for 2025.
