Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds and Best Bets

The final month of the NFL regular season kicks off with an NFC West showdown between the Rams (7-6) and the 49ers (6-7) in San Francisco on Thursday Night Football. Both teams have struggled this year, but had massive wins in Week 14. Bovada lists the 49ers as 2.5-point home favorites in the latest NFL Week 15 spreads.

LA beat the 49ers in their first matchup, winning 27-24 on a game-winning field goal in Week 3. Injuries derailed San Francisco early in the year, and they are somehow even more beat up now. San Fran rolled Chicago last week, but beating a Rams team that has won three of its last four is a different issue.

The 49ers’ defense is too injured to stop the Rams’ offense, and San Francisco’s offense will struggle to keep up on the scoreboard. The Rams can win this game, securing the upset and effectively ending the 49ers’ season.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Carolina Panthers Odds and Best Bets

The Cowboys’ two-game winning streak was snapped on Monday Night Football, thanks to a turnover after Dallas blocked a Cincinnati punt. Now, the Cowboys must travel to Carolina to face the Panthers. Carolina has played much better than its 3-10 record would suggest, at least recently, and the Panthers are 2.5-point favorites in this matchup.

Dallas’ loss to Cincinnati is the type of defeat that can linger. However, the Cowboys still have, far and away, the two best players in this game: Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb. If they are locked in, they alone should power the Cowboys to a win.

The Cowboys have also been better at running the ball lately, with Rico Dowdle setting career highs in rushing yards in back-to-back weeks. This game will be closer than anyone would have thought at the beginning of the year, but Dallas should pull off the road upset.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns Odds and Best Bets

Kansas City’s lucky streak continued as the Chiefs beat the Chargers with a field goal that hit the goal post. The Chiefs should not need nearly as much good fortune this week against the lowly Browns. Bovada lists the defending champions as 4-point road favorites in Cleveland in the latest NFL betting lines for Week 15.

Cleveland fans, for better or worse, have experienced the full Jameis Winston experience lately. Winston has six TDs and six INTs in the last three games, and two of his picks have been returned for touchdowns. I expect the chaos to continue this weekend, with Winston’s turnovers undermining the Browns’ chances of securing the upset.

Kansas City should win, but they have struggled to cover the spread this season. The Chiefs have not won a game by more than four points since early November. However, given Winston’s penchant for throwing interruptions, Kansas City can finally cover this weekend.

Miami Dolphins vs. Houston Texans Odds and Best Bets

Miami and Houston are two teams battling for their playoff lives this weekend. The Texans are heavy favorites to win the AFC South, but they are also 2-3 in their last five games. Likewise, the Dolphins need a win to stay in the hunt for an AFC Wild Card spot.

The Texans enter the game as a 2.5-point home favorites in their NFL Week 15 lines. Houston has allowed just 2,868 passing yards, the seventh-fewest, but it has also surrendered 26 passing touchdowns, tied for the most in the NFL.

Houston’s struggles to stop the pass when it matters the most will be its undoing with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle coming to town. Miami is also the more desperate team, and the Dolphins can pull off the upset this weekend. 

New York Jets vs. Jacksonville Jaguars Odds and Best Bets

Another AFC East vs. AFC South matchup on this weekend’s schedule pits the Jets (3-10) against the Jaguars (3-10). Both teams have been eliminated from playoff contention, and the winner of this game will hurt its draft stock next spring. Bovada has Jacksonville listed as the 3.5-point home underdog in the NFL lines for this Week 15 matchup.

Jacksonville upset the Titans last week, and could get its first two-game winning streak of the season with a win on Sunday. Trevor Lawrence may also return to the Jaguars’ lineup after missing last week’s game with a concussion.

Even if Lawrence returns, beating the Jets will be easier said than done for a much-maligned Jaguars’ team. Betting on the Jets has not been a winning football strategy this season, either. New York should win, but the Jaguars’ point spread is the best bet in this matchup.

Washington Commanders vs. New Orleans Saints Odds and Best Bets

There are exciting cross-division matchups in the NFC as well. For instance, the Saints, third in the NFC South, host the Commanders, second in the NFC East, this week in New Orleans. Bovada lists Washington as a 7-point favorite in its NFL Week 15 projections.

The Commanders had a bye last week, so they should be well-rested for this important game. Washington must win to remain alive for an NFC Wild Card spot. New Orleans, on the other hand, will be without its starting quarterback.

Derek Carr broke his non-throwing hand in the team’s 14-11 win over the Giants last week. The Saints were lifeless without Carr in the lineup when he was hurt earlier this year, so Washington should easily win this game and cover the touchdown spread on Sunday.

Baltimore Ravens vs. New York Giants Odds and Best Bets

Speaking of the Giants, they face a tough matchup this week as the Baltimore Ravens travel to MetLife. New York is the biggest underdog of the weekend, listed at +14.5 in the current NFL spreads for Week 15. Baltimore had a bye last week, and needs a win to keep pace with Pittsburgh in the AFC North title race.

The Ravens are led by MVP contender Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry, a candidate for the rushing title this season. Baltimore should win this game, but they have struggled to cover large spreads this season. They covered a multi-score spread against Denver, but lost outright as double-digit favorites against the Raiders and the Browns.

Rookie sensation WR Malik Nabers could have a field day against Baltimore’s league-worst passing defense. New York’s defense has also played better recently. Considering that, I think the Giants will cover the +14.5 points, but the Ravens will still win this game easily.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans Odds and Best Bets

The Bengals kept their slim playoff hopes alive with their 27-20 win over the Cowboys on MNF in Week 14. Cincinnati needs to keep winning to have any chance of making the playoffs. The good news for Bengals fans is Cincinnati faces Tennessee this week, and the Titans are just 3-10 this season.

Tennessee lost to the equally bad Mac Jones-led Jaguars (3-10) last week, falling to 1-5 at home. The Titans are 5-point home underdogs in the latest NFL Week 15 odds. Cincinnati’s defense is terrible, but even they should be able to contain Tennessee’s offense.

Cincinnati will win this game, especially if Joe Burrow turns in another MVP-type performance. Tennessee has been held to 20 or fewer points in eight of its last nine games, so the Bengals should also be able to cover the five-point spread.

New England Patriots vs. Arizona Cardinals Odds and Best Bets

The Cardinals have lost three straight games, including two to Seattle. Their losing streak has jeopardized Arizona’s playoff chances and knocked the Cardinals from first to third in the NFC West. The good news for Cardinals’ fans is Arizona hosts New England (3-10) this weekend.

Arizona is a 6-point favorite in the NFL football odds for Week 15. New England was one of six teams on a bye in Week 14, but even the added rest will not be enough to beat Arizona. Rookie quarterback Drake Maye has shown flashes of the talent that led him to be the third overall pick, but he has also been prone to game-ending mistakes.

Maye has 11 passing touchdowns this season, but has also thrown eight interceptions. He has at least one interception in each of his last five games. Maye’s turnover issues will continue this week, allowing Arizona to win and cover the spread on Sunday.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Denver Broncos Odds and Best Bets

Two teams fighting for an AFC Wild Card spot square off this week in Denver. The Colts are 4-point road underdogs against the Broncos in Bovada’s NFL odds for Week 15. Denver (8-5) has the better record, but the Chiefs already won the AFC West.

Indianapolis (6-7), on the other hand, can still win the AFC South if they win out and the Texans continue to struggle. Even without winning the division, Anthony Richardson and company can move a step closer to a playoff berth by knocking off the Broncos this week.

Both teams had a bye last week, so they should be well-rested and prepared for this game. The bye is precisely what the doctor ordered for Denver after the Broncos’ defense struggled against the Browns in Week 13. The home-field advantage will give Denver all the edge it needs to beat the Colts and cover the spread this weekend.

Buffalo Bills vs. Detroit Lions Odds and Best Bets

The marquee matchup of the weekend is a cross-conference game between the Bills (10-3) and the Lions (12-1). Buffalo lost a shootout in LA last week, falling 44-42 to the Rams and ending the Bills’ seven-game winning streak. Detroit, conversely, won its 11th straight game with its win over the Packers on Thursday Night Football. 

Despite the win last week, the Lions could be more vulnerable than ever as injuries on Detroit’s defense continue to pile up. Buffalo will also be highly motivated after its defense failed to make the trip to LA. This game will also have a major impact on this season’s MVP race, which is led by Buffalo’s Josh Allen.

This game has the makings of a shootout, but I would not be surprised if it is a lower-scoring affair than many anticipate. Ultimately, I think the Lions will win and cover the 1.5-point spread against Buffalo on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds and Best Bets

Tampa Bay defeated the Raiders last week and, thanks to the Falcons’ loss in Minnesota, took over the top spot in the NFC South. The Buccaneers’ time as division leaders could be short-lived as they take on the Chargers this weekend. Los Angeles lost a heartbreaker to the Chiefs, whose game-winning field goal hit the upright and still went through.

The Chargers can still make the playoffs, but they are in the middle of a hotly contested battle for the AFC Wild Card spots. LA is a 3-point favorite in the NFL Week 15 betting odds at  most offshore betting sites.

This game will come down to whether Tampa Bay’s defense can contain the Chargers’ offense. LA has struggled to move the ball with its conservative, run-based scheme. However, the Buccaneers’ defense has been below average this season, and I think LA will secure the win at home.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Philadelphia Eagles Odds and Best Bets

The Eagles (11-2) host the Steelers (10-3) in a battle of the Keystone State that will have major playoff implications. Philadelphia is laying 4.5 points in the Week 15, 2024 NFL odds for this matchup. The Eagles have won nine straight, and the Steelers are 6-1 with Russell Wilson as their starter.

On paper, this is a close matchup between two of the best teams in the NFL. In reality, though, the Eagles will roll to their 10th consecutive win. Pittsburgh’s run defense is overrated, and Philly’s Saquon Barkley will take another step toward breaking the rushing record and winning the MVP with a huge game this weekend.

The Steelers could also be without George Pickens, who is dealing with a hamstring injury. Pittsburgh struggled to move the ball against Cleveland without Pickens, and they will have even more trouble this week against a stout Eagles’ defense. The Eagles should win this game, and I would not be surprised if it were by double digits.

Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks Odds and Best Bets

Two of the hottest teams in the NFC face off on Sunday Night Football as the Packers (9-4) take on the Seahawks (8-5) in Seattle. The Packers have won seven of their last nine games, and Seattle’s four-game winning streak has catapulted the Seahawks to the top spot in the NFC West.

Green Bay is a 3-point road favorite in the NFL lines for Week 15, 2024. Seattle’s pass defense has been better, but the Packers have the edge at stopping the run. Green Bay also has the better quarterback in Jordan Love, and Seattle could be without Kenneth Walker for another week.

The Packers should win this game, but beating the Seahawks in Seattle is easier said than done. Seattle is just 3-4 at home this year, but they have finished .500 or better at home 14 times in the last 15 years. Green Bay should win, but Seattle +3 is the best point-spread bet.

Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings Odds and Best Bets

There are two Monday Night Football matchups in Week 15. The first is an NFC North clash between the Bears and the Vikings. Minnesota (11-2) must win to keep pace with the Lions (12-1). Likewise, Chicago (4-9) needs to win to end a seven-game losing streak.

Bovada lists the Vikings as a 7-point home favorite for this game. Divisional games are typically close, as evidenced by Minnesota’s 30-27 OT win over Chicago in Week 12. That game was in Chicago, though, and this one is in Minnesota.

Playing at home should power the Vikings to the win, but I do not think they will cover. Minnesota is coming off a big, emotional win last week over Atlanta and the returning Kirk Cousins. The Vikings will have a tough time getting up for a 4-9 Bears team, but Minnesota will squeak out the win on Monday.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds and Best Bets

Speaking of Cousins and the Falcons, Atlanta will take on the Raiders in Las Vegas in the second game on this week’s MNF doubleheader. Bovada has the Falcons listed as 4.5-point road favorites over the Raiders in this cross-conference matchup.

Atlanta has lost four straight games, and Cousins has been held without a touchdown pass during their current skid. The QB has also committed eight interceptions and four fumbles in his last four appearances. If Cousins cannot turn his season around in Las Vegas, it could be Michael Penix time for the Falcons.

Las Vegas has quarterback issues of its own, with Gardner Minshew on season-ending IR with a broken collarbone and Aidan O’Connell hurting his knee last week. If O’Connell cannot play, Desmond Ridder, who was drafted by Atlanta in 2022, will take on the Falcons.

Regardless of who is under center for the Raiders, they will struggle in this prime-time game, and the Falcons should cover.
