Week 18 marks the final slate of regular season games for the 2023-24 NFL season. Finalizing Wild Card Round matchups and seeding is on the agenda for this week.
Let’s take a look at the opening NFL Week 18 odds, courtesy of the best NFL betting sites, and make our Week 18 NFL predictions for the full slate of action. All odds are courtesy of Bovada.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Pittsburgh Steelers | -3.5 (-110) | -195 | Over 38 (-115) |
Baltimore Ravens | +3.5 (-110) | +165 | Under 38 (-105) |
The Ravens have solidified their spot atop the AFC as the No. 1 seed and Conference Championship favorites. They don’t even have to play their starters in Week 18.
However, head coach John Harbaugh would likely prefer to go into the postseason with some momentum. While MVP favorite Lamar Jackson rests, backup Tyler Huntley could receive the starting nod, though nothing has been determined yet.
Huntley has starting experience and is the perfect fit in this offense as a mobile QB. If Huntley starts, he’ll have some motivation to look good.
The Steelers need this win to remain in the NFL Playoff hunt, but the Ravens should have some interest in ending their rival’s dreams. Baltimore is a top Week 18 underdog pick.
Steelers vs. Ravens Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Baltimore Ravens +3.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Baltimore Ravens (+165)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 38 (-115)
Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Houston Texans | -1 (-105) | -110 | Over 47 (-110) |
Indianapolis Colts | +1 (-115) | -110 | Under 47 (-110) |
The Texans and Colts meet with a spot in the NFL Playoffs on the line. If the Jaguars lose at Tennessee this week, the winner of this game captures the AFC South crown.
If the Jaguars win, the winner of the Texans and Colts can still earn a Wild Card berth. The stakes are high in a must-win game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
By the slimmest of margins in a game that goes down to the wire, we like Gardner Minshew and the Colts to edge out the Texans by a field goal. Expect some Minshew magic from the Colts.
Texans vs. Colts Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Indianapolis Colts +1 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Indianapolis Colts (-110)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 47 (-110)
Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Chicago Bears | +3 (-105) | +145 | Over 44 (-110) |
Green Bay Packers | -3 (-115) | -170 | Under 44 (-110) |
The Packers and Jordan Love had a near perfect outing to trample the Vikings for a 33-10 win on Sunday night. They need another strong showing this week to reach the postseason.
Last year, the Packers lost to the Lions in this same spot at Lambeau Field. However, we are confident that the 2023-24 regular-season finale will play out differently.
When Love is playing confidently, we’ve seen what he is capable of accomplishing. He should be budding with confidence after passing for three touchdowns at Minnesota.
Bears vs. Packers Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Green Bay Packers -3 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Green Bay Packers (-170)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 44 (-110)
Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Atlanta Falcons | +4 (-110) | +165 | Over 41.5 (-110) |
New Orleans Saints | -4 (-110) | -195 | Under 41.5 (-110) |
The crowded NFC South picture will be decided in Week 18. Last week, the Saints completed a small upset over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to advance to 8-8 and a two-way tie with the Buccaneers.
The Saints or Falcons can capture the NFC South title with a win and a Buccaneers’ loss. The Buccaneers are heavy favorites to beat the Carolina Panthers.
In Week 17, the Falcons had a total mismatch against an elite run defense at Chicago. But, running lanes should open up for Atlanta in this matchup.
They are 4-1 against the spread (ATS) in their last five meetings versus the Saints. New Orleans likely figures it out by a field goal, but the Falcons cover.
Falcons vs. Saints Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Atlanta Falcons +4 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: New Orleans Saints (-195)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 41.5 (-110)
New York Jets vs. New England Patriots Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
New York Jets | +1.5 (-110) | +105 | Over 34 (-110) |
New England Patriots | -1.5 (-110) | -125 | Under 34 (-110) |
The Jets and Patriots wrap up their miserable seasons in the basement of the AFC East at Gillette Stadium. This should shape up to be one of the most prominent defensive matchups of Week 18.
In what could be Bill Belichick’s last game, the Patriots are likely coming through at home against the Jets. Bailey Zappe isn’t a QB1 in the NFL, but neither is Zach Wilson nor Trevor Siemian.
The Jets have checked out this season, which includes head coach Robert Saleh. Consider placing your wagers on the Patriots at football betting sites.
Jets vs. Patriots Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: New England Patriots -1.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: New England Patriots (-125)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 34 (-110)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Tampa Bay Buccaneers | -5.5 (-110) | -245 | Over 38 (-105) |
Carolina Panthers | +5.5 (-110) | +205 | Under 38 (-115) |
Last week, the Buccaneers passed up a glorious opportunity to clinch the division against the Saints. The Buccaneers will get a do-over against the Panthers at Bank of America Stadium this weekend.
If the Buccaneers slacked off thinking this week is a lay-up, then they might be setting themselves up for failure. This Panthers’ squad has all kinds of issues, but their secondary is talented enough to neutralize the strength of the Buccaneers’ passing game.
The Bucs will be one of the most public plays of Week 18. Sports betting sites would like to see a Panthers win here. We don’t know about a win, but the Panthers covering the point spread is within reach.
Buccaneers vs. Panthers Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Carolina Panthers +5.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-245)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 38 (-105)
Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Cleveland Browns | +4.5 (-110) | +175 | Over 39.5 (-110) |
Cincinnati Bengals | -4.5 (-110) | -210 | Under 39.5 (-110) |
The Bengals are officially out of the NFL Playoffs following a 25-17 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Meanwhile, the Browns are in after an impressive 37-20 victory over the Jets on Thursday Night Football.
Expect the Browns to rest some players, but laying 4.5 points on a disinterested Bengals’ squad looks dicey. This is likely an ugly offensive game without much consistency.
Take the points and consider the moneyline on the Browns at +175. Regardless of the Browns sitting out, they should still feast on a struggling Bengals’ offensive line.
Browns vs. Bengals Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Cleveland Browns +4.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Cleveland Browns (+175)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 39.5 (-110)
Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Jacksonville Jaguars | -4 (-110) | -210 | Over 40 (-110) |
Tennessee Titans | +4 (-110) | +175 | Under 40 (-110) |
The Jaguars need a win over the Titans to clinch the AFC South title. Last week, they rode the arm of C.J. Beathard to a blowout win over the Panthers.
If we’re just looking at what happened last week, the Jaguars should win in Week 18 with ease. However, the Titans have nothing to lose at home following an embarrassing performance against the Texans.
Trevor Lawrence’s status for Week 18 remains in doubt. Aside from last week’s debacle, the Titans have been a competitive team at home. The Jaguars survive a brief scare, but the Titans play hard at home to end the season.
Jaguars vs. Titans Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Tennessee Titans +4 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Jacksonville Jaguars (-210)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 40 (-110)
Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Philadelphia Eagles | -6 (-110) | -245 | Over 45.5 (-110) |
New York Giants | +6 (-110) | +205 | Under 45.5 (-110) |
Following an indefensible loss to the Cardinals, the Eagles finish the year against the Giants at MetLife Stadium. There is plenty of finger-pointing going on in the Eagles’ locker room right now.
With the NFL Playoffs approaching, it couldn’t happen at the worst time. The Eagles are in the postseason, but could find themselves going on the road for the Wild Card Round and conceding the NFC East to the Cowboys.
The Giants have nothing to lose against an Eagles’ team in disarray. They fought hard in a 26-25 loss to the Los Angeles Rams this past weekend. Look for a determined effort to wrap up the year versus a divisional rival.
Eagles vs. Giants Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: New York Giants +6 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: New York Giants (+205)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 45.5 (-110)
Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Dallas Cowboys | -12.5 (-110) | -750 | Over 48 (-110) |
Washington Commanders | +12.5 (-110) | +500 | Under 48 (-110) |
This week, the Cowboys can clinch the division and cash our bet to win the NFC East. Dallas is coming off a controversial win over the Lions in Week 17. In addition to catching a break, thanks to official Brad Allen, the Eagles choked in a 35-31 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.
Dallas went a perfect 8-0 at home in the regular season. However, they’ve been vulnerable, and a bad bet on the road. With an overall record of 3-5, the Cowboys don’t offer any value as a double-digit road favorite.
That is especially true against a divisional rival in the Commanders. Washington should cover the spread, but come up short. Dallas will win, but they will have to fight for all four quarters to get the victory.
Cowboys vs. Commanders Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Washington Commanders +12.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Dallas Cowboys (-750)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 48 (-110)
Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Minnesota Vikings | +4 (-110) | +170 | Over 44 (-110) |
Detroit Lions | -4 (-110) | -200 | Under 44 (-110) |
The Lions are likely the NFC’s No. 3 seed after the 20-19 loss to Dak Prescott’s Cowboys. They can move up to the No. 2 seed, but will need a lot of help.
The Vikings’ postseason hopes were dashed after getting blown out versus the Packers on Sunday Night Football. They might have nothing to lose in this one, though this looks like a team ready for the offseason.
We don’t foresee the Vikings having any motivation at Ford Field in Week 18. Back the Lions to enter the NFL Playoffs with momentum following a win and cover against the Vikings.
Vikings vs. Lions Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Detroit Lions -4 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Detroit Lions (-200)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 44 (-110)
Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Seattle Seahawks | -3.5 (+100) | -180 | Over 47 (-110) |
Arizona Cardinals | +3.5 (-120) | +155 | Under 47 (-110) |
The Seahawks are up against improbable odds of reaching the NFL Playoffs following a 30-23 loss to the Steelers at home. They need a win and the Packers to lose to the Bears.
This past week, the 4-12 Cardinals were in good form on the road at Philadelphia. Kyler Murray sliced through a disappointing Eagles’ defense for 35 points in a four-point win. As home underdogs, the Cardinals appear to be a strong value play in Week 18.
Seattle has to be down in the dumps after such a weak performance in what was essentially a must-win spot. Laying more than a field goal doesn’t provide much value on the Seahawks.
Seahawks vs. Cardinals Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Arizona Cardinals +3.5 (-120)
- Moneyline Bet: Arizona Cardinals (+155)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 47 (-110)
Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Kansas City Chiefs | +1.5 (-110) | +100 | Over 35.5 (-110) |
Los Angeles Chargers | -1.5 (-110) | -120 | Under 35.5 (-110) |
Kansas City is locked into the No. 3 seed after a hard-fought 25-17 win over Jake Browning and the Bengals. It was another game where every yard was difficult for the Chiefs’ offense to pick up.
Nevertheless, the defense rose to the occasion and clinched the win. In the regular-season finale at Los Angeles versus the Chargers, we expect more of the same.
Patrick Mahomes might be sitting this one out, but the Chiefs’ defense can beat Easton Stick. Blaine Gabbert won’t have to be Mahomes if he gets the start in Week 18. He just needs to manage the game and not turn the ball over.
Chiefs vs. Chargers Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Kansas City Chiefs +1.5 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Kansas City Chiefs (+100)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 35.5 (-110)
Denver Broncos vs. Las Vegas Raiders Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Denver Broncos | +2.5 (-105) | +125 | Over 38 (-110) |
Las Vegas Raiders | -2.5 (-115) | -145 | Under 38 (-110) |
The Broncos are coming off a win, but the 16-9 effort against the Chargers didn’t mean much. They have been eliminated from the 2023-24 NFL Playoffs.
With Russell Wilson getting benched, Jarrett Stidham is set to get the start at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Expect Maxx Crosby and the Raiders’ defense to bother him in this one.
The Raiders are on the heels of a competitive loss at Indianapolis by a score of 23-20. Despite an upset over the Chiefs a week earlier, the Raiders didn’t have much of a hangover.
They should take this one over the Broncos to close out an up-and-down campaign in Las Vegas.
Broncos vs. Raiders Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Las Vegas Raiders -2.5 (-115)
- Moneyline Bet: Las Vegas Raiders (-145)
- Over-Under Bet: Under 38 (-110)
Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Los Angeles Rams | +3.5 (-115) | +160 | Over 41.5 (-115) |
San Francisco 49ers | -3.5 (-105) | -185 | Under 41.5 (-105) |
The 49ers are officially the No. 1 seed in the NFC Playoffs, while the Rams have earned a spot in the Wild Card Round after the Seahawks’ loss. How do the Rams and 49ers handle this Week 18 matchup?
QB’s Matthew Stafford and Brock Purdy are likely watching this game from the bench. That would mean Carson Wentz, who hasn’t thrown a pass since New Year’s Day of 2023, would get the start for the Rams.
In this case, you have to give the nod to Sam Darnold and the 49ers. Darnold is easier to trust than Wentz at Levi’s Stadium. The 49ers’ Week 18 NFL odds are worth considering on the Super Bowl 58 betting favorites at -3.5.
Rams vs. 49ers Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: San Francisco 49ers -3.5 (-105)
- Moneyline Bet: San Francisco 49ers (-185)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 41.5 (-115)
Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins Odds
TEAM | SPREAD | MONEYLINE | TOTAL |
---|---|---|---|
Buffalo Bills | -2 (-110) | -135 | Over 48.5 (-110) |
Miami Dolphins | +2 (-110) | +115 | Under 48.5 (-110) |
In the biggest Week 18 matchup of the week, the Bills and Dolphins clash for the AFC East title on Sunday Night Football.
The Dolphins have clinched a Wild Card berth, but the Bills are still looking to book a ticket to the 2023-24 NFL Playoffs. The Bills can win the division title and the No. 2 seed, or a chance of missing the NFL Playoffs entirely.
Miami was shell-shocked last week in a 56-19 loss to the Ravens. In our opinion, the Dolphins don’t recover in time for a determined Bills’ squad. Look for the Dolphins to play much better, but more is needed to overcome the Bills.
Expect Josh Allen to deliver a vintage performance to steer the Bills into the winner’s circle at Hard Rock Stadium.
Bills vs. Dolphins Predictions:
- Point Spread Bet: Buffalo Bills -2 (-110)
- Moneyline Bet: Buffalo Bills (-135)
- Over-Under Bet: Over 48.5 (-110)
Best NFL Bets This Week
For the final look at our NFL Week 18 predictions, we are locking in our NFL best bets for this week. We’ve identified two picks against the spread that qualify as our best NFL bets for Week 18:
Green Bay Packers (-3)
Needing a win doesn’t always translate to earning a win. Last year, the Packers found this out the hard way in a 20-16 loss to the Lions in Week 18. Another NFC North foe, Chicago, has an opportunity to do the same to the Packers this season.
That being said, head coach Matt LaFleur likely has this team prepared to run like a well-oiled machine against the Bears. As we noted, Love is going to be playing with a plethora of confidence after knocking off the Vikings on the road.
At this stage of his career, Love is a young QB who plays well in waves. When he is feeling confident, Love stands tall in the pocket and makes all the right decisions. While the Bears are strong against the run, they often leave passing windows open in the secondary.
Love should capitalize on a spotty and inconsistent Bears’ defense to lead the Packers to the win that Aaron Rodgers couldn’t last year. In 2023-24, the Packers are 4-3 ATS at Lambeau Field.
Additionally, they are 9-0 ATS in their last nine matchups versus the Bears in Wisconsin. The Bears are 2-10 outright in their previous 12 trips on the road. Expect the Packers to dispatch the Bears and earn an invite to the NFL Wild Card Round.
Las Vegas Raiders (-2.5)
The Raiders do not have anything to play for at home in Week 18. Nevertheless, this has been a much more composed football team since Josh McDaniels was relieved of his head coaching duties.
When the Raiders aren’t winning games, they’ve at least been competitive under Antonio Pierce. On Christmas Day, the Raiders recorded their best win of the season with a 20-14 victory at Arrowhead Stadium.
That win followed a 63-21 blowout over the Chargers in Week 16. The Raiders just about made it three straight wins, but came a field goal short at Indianapolis.
It was still a strong effort from QB Aidan O’Connell, who came a yard away from 300 yards passing. Also, O’Connell passed for two touchdowns and no interceptions. He should continue to connect with Davante Adams after he finished with 126 yards and two touchdowns.
Stidham was fine against the Chargers, but faces an increased challenge on the road versus Crosby and the Raiders’ pass rush.
At 5-2-1 ATS, the Raiders have been one of the best home bets in the NFL. As a home favorite, they are 4-1-0 ATS. Additionally, the Raiders are 7-0 ATS in their previous seven matchups versus the Chargers at home.
