Olympics Women’s Boxing 54kg Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Stanimira Petrova (BUL)+200
Pang Chol-Mi (PRK)+340
Huang Hsiao-wen (TPE)+800
Sara Cirkovic (SRB)+1600
Sirine Charrabi (ITA)+1600

Bulgaria’s Stanimira Petrova (73-21) is favored to win the 54k women’s gold medal. Currently, the Paris 2024 boxing betting odds suggest that she has a 33.3% implied probability of winning.

The 33-year-old native out of Sofia, Bulgaria, is expected to be tested by North Korea’s Pang Chol-Mi (12-2) in the squared circle.

Pang holds a 22.7% implied chance to capture gold. The flyweight boxer has won at bantamweight and flyweight. She is the 2022 Asian Games bantamweight champ but has never gone to the Olympics. North Korean boxers haven’t been at the Olympics since London 2012!

The 12-2 boxer has a quality record but has never faced a boxer of Petrova’s talents.

The Olympic Games are a significant improvement in skill compared to the largely Chinese and Russian boxers she is used to fighting. Petrova is a two-time Olympian from the Rio and Tokyo Games.

Despite coming shy of a medal, the bantamweight and flyweight fighter has won five major gold medals in her career. Most recently, Petrova won gold in the 2023 European Games in the bantamweight class. She’s also a gold medal winner in the European Championships in both weight classes.

At 73-21, she is the most experienced and accomplished boxer in the 54kg category. Petrova owns a record of 11-2 over her previous 13 bouts. While Pang could be a rising star, Petrova’s experience will prevail. In short, the Bulgarian’s Paris 2024 boxing odds are a steal at +200!

The Bet
Stanimira Petrova

Olympics Women’s Boxing 75kg Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Tammara Thibeault (CAN)+110
Li Qian (CHN)+500
Aoife O’Rourke (IRE)+850
Khadija El-Mardi (MOR)+1400
Cindy Ngamba (EOR)+1400

Tammara Thibeault (51-12) is a step above the competition in the 75kg class. As a +110 favorite, she has slightly less than a 50% chance to win, but I’d put her at 55-60% against this beatable field.

Aside from Ireland’s Aoife O’Rourke, I don’t see any other boxer potentially defeating the Canadian.

Thibeault features exquisite footwork and speed. She has ridden her superior technique to a career 51-12 record. Additionally, Thibeault is on an incredible winning streak dating back to 2022! She won back-to-back golds at the 2022 Pan American and 2023 Pan American Games.

Currently, Thibeault has won 25 consecutive bouts in her career. Canada won’t have as much success in the medal table as in a typical Winter Olympics edition, but Thibeault is one of their best chances to win gold at Paris 2024.

According to sports betting sites, China’s Li Qian (49-12) is her biggest threat. The challenger holds a 49-12 record but has shown a vulnerable side recently.

The 34-year-old has lost two fights this year, and three since March 2023. With Li nearing the end of her career, look for Thibeault to take control of the women’s 75kg weight class. The red-hot Canadian is a good addition to your 2024 Olympic boxing betting picks for Paris 2024!

The Bet
Tammara Thibeault

Olympics Women’s 66kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Busenaz Surmeneli (TUR)+100
Imane Khelif (ALG)+470
Yang Liu (CHN)+600
Morelle McCane (USA)+950
Janjaem Suwwannapheng (THA)+1600

Let’s continue our Paris 2024 boxing predictions with the women’s 66kg! This class is another lopsided grouping at the Summer Games. Turkey’s Busenaz Sürmeneli (46-7) is one of the best pound-for-pound amateur boxers in the world at the moment.

The 26-year-old from Bursa, Turkey, enters the Olympics with just one defeat since 2021. She holds a record of 21-1 over her previous 22 bouts! Surmeneli is the defending welterweight Olympic gold medalist. Additionally, her resume includes gold at the 2024 European Championships earlier this year.

With an implied probability of 50%, Surmeneli is the clear favorite. With that in mind, I have the Turkish boxing star marked down as a -130 betting favorite to win gold.

The way I see it, Surmeneli should be a heavier favorite than +100, so give her strong consideration for your Olympic boxing best bets!

The Bet
Busenaz Surmeneli

Olympics Men’s 63.5kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Sofiane Oumiha (FRA)-125
Ruslan Abdullaev (UZB)+300
Lasha Guruli (GEO)+650
Erislandy Alvarez (CUB)+1000
Harry Garside (AUS)+1800

France’s Sofiane Oumiha (16-2) is favored to win the gold medal in the men’s 63.5kg in his home country. According to Tapology, Oumiha boasts a professional record of 6-0 and 10-2 as an amateur. He is coming off a win over Ismail Galiyatano for his sixth pro victory in December.

Quick on his feet and an aggressive fighter, Oumiha has an above-average chance of winning the gold at Paris 2024. The latest 2024 Olympic boxing odds, give him 55.6%. That’s not bad, but Uzbekistan’s Ruslan Abdullaev (43-4) presents a formidable challenge.

He sports an outstanding record of 43-4 since opening his career in 2017. The guy has won seven consecutive matches, including a TKO against Renat Khuzakmetov in May. The 22-year-old has demolished the competition but needs a stronger test now.

Nevertheless, Abdullaev has shown that he has the talent to beat some of the best in the world. Keep an eye on this boxer at Paris 2024 and in the future. Despite his age of only 22, he’s already fought in 47 bouts in his career.

Fresh off an IBA World Championship win in 2023, Abdullaev is prepared for another title on the Olympic stage!

The Bet
Ruslan Abdullaev

Olympics Men’s 80kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Oleksandr Khyzhniak (UKR)-115
Arlen Lopez (CUB)+300
Nurbek Oralbay (KAZ)+650
Toqtarbek Tanatqan (CHN)+1000
Callum Peters (AUS)+1300

Ukraine has become a boxing powerhouse, both on the pro and amateur scene. Oleksandr Khyzhniak (122-17) is one of the country’s best hopes for a gold medal at Paris 2024. In one of the most highly anticipated classes in boxing, Khyzhniak and Arlen Lopez are on a collision course for gold.

The multi-talented Khyzhniak owns an incredible record of 122-17. He’s on a staggering win streak in the ring, which dates back to 2021. He lost the Tokyo 2020 gold medal match back then, so the Ukrainian will be with a chip on his shoulder.

Currently on a 24-fight win streak after moving to light heavyweight, Khyzhniak is the clear man to beat in the 80kg class in the Olympics.

He’s always on the attack looking for an advantage over his opponents. Although Arlen Lopez and Nurbek Oralbay should hand Khyzhniak a decent rebuttable, expect the favorite to prevail. He has incredible work on the inside to wear out the opposition.

Khyzhniak’s accuracy and strength at short range are unmatched at 80kg. His motor doesn’t quit, either. The constant pressure from Khyzhniak adds up to easy wins for the Ukrainian star. Backing him is one of the top Paris 2024 boxing picks on the board, so definitely circle him for your Olympic card!

The Bet
Oleksandr Khyzhniak

Olympics Men’s 57kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Abdulmalik Khalokov (UZB)+240
Makhmud Sabyrkhan (KAZ)+350
Jahmal Harvey (USA)+450
Luiz Oliveira (BRZ)+600
Javier Ibanez Diaz (BUL)+650

The men’s 57kg category is wide open at these Olympic Games in Paris. According to the latest Olympic 2024 boxing odds, Abdulmalik Khalokov (80-10) is favored to win the gold medal at +240. However, this only implies a 29.5% chance of winning.

Makhmud Sabyrkhan (63-8) should be a tough opponent for Khalokov and the rest of this field in the 57kg weight class. At +350, he has top betting value at BetUS. Sabyrkhan is another young boxer rising through the ranks at a rapid pace.

The young 22-year-old has already notched a record of 63-8 in 71 amateur bouts. Following a loss to Carlo Paalam in 2022, Sabyrkhan has won 20 of his previous 21 fights. There have been some tough opponents during that stretch, too.

The quick and nimble Sabyrkhan will prove to be difficult to match in the ring at Paris 2024. With his career on the upswing, this is the right time to take advantage of this dynamic boxer’s Olympic boxing betting odds. He’s a strong option for your card with generous +350 odds!

The Bet
Makhmud Sabyrkhan

Olympics Men’s 71kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Aslanbek Shymbergenov (KAZ)+160
Asadkhuja Muydinkhujaev (UZB)+650
Merco Verde (MEX)+800
Sewon Okazawa (JPN)+900
Rami Mofid Kiwan (BUL)+1100

Kazakhstan doesn’t have unlimited opportunities to win gold medals in the Summer Olympics. However, Aslanbek Shymbergenov (95-15) gives the country a strong chance of standing tall in the 71kg boxing event.

Shymbergenov won the 2023 World Championships in the light middleweight class and is likely to parlay it into a gold medal at Paris 2024. Currently, Skymbergenov owns a record of 95-15 in his career, which includes 12 KOs!

The 30-year-old is 16-1 in his previous 17 matches heading into the Olympic Games. He is the strongest puncher in this class, and it should be on display from his opening match in France. Amateur boxers generally don’t shoot for KOs, but Skymbergenov has the power to finish one or two fighters in this tournament.

In a rather non-competitive class, Skymbergenov is the best bet to win gold at 71kg!

The Bet
Aslanbek Shymbergenov

Olympics Men’s 92kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Julio Cesar La Cruz (CUB)+150
Aziz Abbes Mouhiidine (ITA)+320
Lazizbek Mullojonov (UZB)+850
Loren Alfonso (AZE)+900
Keno Machedo (BRA)+1000

The men’s 92kg boxing event should be an entertaining event, with Julio Cesar La Cruz (16-0) and Aziz Abbes Mouhiidine (56-14-0) leading the way. They are the class of the 92kg weight class at Paris 2024. There should be some fireworks, with Cesar La Cruz the most likely to win here.

As a +150 favorite, Cesar La Cruz has an implied probability of 40%! That doesn’t look right for a guy of his talent. Since turning pro, Cesar La Cruz owns a perfect record of 4-0. He most recently defeated Austine Nnamdi via unanimous decision in December.

Two of his pro wins have been by TKO/KO, so expect impressive power from Cesar La Cruz in his return to the Olympics. The 34-year-old Cuban native is the defending Olympic champion at Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020. He is looking to make it a three-peat in the Summer Games and I won’t be surprise if he succeeds.

As one of the most talented boxers at Paris 2024, Cesar La Cruz should pull it out for Cuba. Consider adding him to your Paris 2024 boxing best bets!

The Bet
Julio Cesar La Cruz

Olympics Men’s Over 92kg Boxing Odds and Prediction

FIGHTERODDS
Bakhodir Jalolov (UZB)-285
Kamshybek Kunkabayev (KAZ)+1100
Temeoana Junior (AUS)+1200
Nelvie Tiafack (GER)+1900
Delicious Orie (GBR)+2200

Bakhodir Jalovov (22-1) is a heavy favorite to win the gold medal in the heavyweight class. The undefeated 30-year-old pro has been making a name for himself with his KO power.

Jalovov has won all 14 fights by a TKO/KO! He is cleaning the clock of his opponents with relative ease. In his latest bout, Jalovov destroyed Chris Thompson for a KO in Round 1.

His previous two wins have each been by a KO in the opening round. The only loss in his career was as an amateur against Joe Joyce! The same Joyce who has since moved on to have an accomplished pro career. This being his only loss is a testament to his ability in the boxing ring.

Jalovov is a heavy favorite, but it’s justified. He has too much power and accuracy to contend with in the over 92kg category, so consider backing Kalovov to mow down this field en route to a gold medal at Paris 2024!

The Bet
Bakhodir Jalolov
