2023 PGA AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Odds and Pick

2023 Pebble Beach Predictions And Odds

This weekend’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am features a star-studded field of professional golfers, celebrities, and athletes from other sports. In total, there are 156 Tour players and 156 non-pros competing across three golf courses. The Top 25 teams will be invited to play in the final round at Pebble Beach on Sunday.

Jordan Spieth, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Matt Kuchar headline the field of Tour players participating in this PGA tournament held in California. Some celebrities and athletes taking part in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am include Bill Murray, Ray Romano, Jake Owen, Eric Church, Aaron Rodgers, and Josh Allen.

You will not find any of the celebrity names listed to win on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds board at the top Online Golf Betting Sites. For bettors wagering on the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, only the pro golfers are available to wager on.

The celebrity amateurs are merely there to garner interest from people that would not typically pay attention to golf. It is extremely rare when a non-pro outplays their professional counterpart.

We had great success this past weekend in San Diego at Torrey Pines as Max Homa was a big winner for us at +2000. The 32-year-old native of California had a strong push in the final round to overtake and clear Sam Ryder on the back 9.

Let’s see if we can duplicate our success from last weekend as we handicap the best AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am betting odds, provide a few tips for this tournament and attempt to pick another winner.

Pro-Am PGA events are not considered the most serious tournaments. They are laidback golf tournaments that have an exhibition feel to them.

Generally, they do not bring out the most complete fields on the PGA Tour. Spieth and Fitzpatrick are well-respected names. However, there is no Rory McIlroy, Jon Rahm, or Scottie Scheffler in the field.

That is good news for Spieth and Fitzpatrick, who assume the top spot as the favorites to win the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Jake Owen is alongside Spieth as his partner for this Pro-Am event. The two are good friends and have established a solid playing relationship over the last few years.

Spieth won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am with former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo as his partner in 2017. Romo is one of the best amateur golfers to ever participate in this tournament.

There is probably a better value on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds board than Spieth and Fitzpatrick at +1000. However, both golfers should be in the mix in the final round on Sunday.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Past Winners

Spieth is hoping to win this tournament for the first time since 2017. He had the best non-pro partner in the field with Romo that year. Owen has a very respectable handicap of 2 or 3, so this is not a bad pairing for him, either.

Tom Hoge beat the field last year. He pulled away from Spieth, who once again had a strong showing at Pebble Beach. Spieth shot -17 under par, while Hoge held on for a two-stroke win at -19.

Spieth has not been a one-trick pony at Pebble Beach. He is favored to win for good reason. The 2021 winner of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am will not be participating.

Daniel Berger is absent from the field, but runner-up Maverick McNealy will play the 2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. McNealy had a solid showing two weeks ago at the Sony Open in Hawaii.

Phil Mickelson has had the most success amongst active golfers, with five wins since 1998. Find the rest of the most recent winners of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am below1:

2023 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Weather Forecast

The weather was perfect for golf this past weekend in San Diego. Unfortunately, perfect weather will be tough to come by in Del Monte Forest for the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The final round takes place on Sunday at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Sunday is forecasted to be the worst day of the tournament. The high temperature is expected to reach just 56 degrees.

Along with the chilly conditions, scattered rain is in the forecast. At a 60% chance of rain, we should avoid a rainout. The wind should be manageable at 14 mph, but it is not ideal conditions for golf.

AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Predictions

We have three AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am picks for this weekend in California. After cashing a +2000 ticket on Max Homa last weekend, we want more at TheSportsGeek. There is some good value on the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am odds board.

Seamus Power (+1800)

Irishman, Seamus Power, is looking for his third win on the PGA Tour this Sunday. His first victory was in 2021 at the Barbasol Championship. On October 30, 2022, in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, Power won his second career PGA title.

The 35-year-old already has three top-5 finishes this season. Power is off to a strong start and is fifth in the FedEx Cup Standings for the 2022-23 campaign2. In his first tournament, Power finished T3 in the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.

The native of Ireland should not be bothered by any adverse weather conditions. Growing up in Waterford, Ireland, battling the elements is all part of being a quality golfer.

Power had to wait a while for his first win on the PGA Tour. After winning his first tournament, it took just two years for his second title. In his current form, Power is worth considering versus a somewhat weak field.

AT&T PEBBLE BEACH PRO-AM PICK:
Seamus Power

Maverick McNealy (+1800)

Maverick McNealy is the heir to a $1 billion fortune, which might make him a winner in some people’s eyes, but he hasn’t been a winner on the PGA Tour as of yet. McNealy is still searching for that illustrious first win. It has not been without trying, though.

He had some close calls last year and is in good form entering the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. McNealy’s best finish in 2021-22 was at the Fortinet Championship. He came just short of 2nd behind Max Homa by a stroke.

Following that performance, it appeared that McNealy was going to grab his first win soon. We are still waiting on McNealy. Could the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am be the tournament?

McNealy has had success in this event previously. The 27-year-old was the runner-up behind Daniel Berger in 2021. If McNealy makes it to Pebble Beach on Sunday, he could be tough to beat.

McNealy has been in good shape this season. He is 5th on the PGA Tour in scoring average per tournament at 69.314 in 2022-233. With less pressure on him in a Pro-Am event, expect McNealy to loosen up and have a big chance to win on Sunday.

AT&T PEBBLE BEACH PRO-AM PICK:
Maverick McNealy

Joel Dahmen (+3300)

Only two players on the PGA Tour have been better than Joel Dahmen in scoring average per tournament in 2022-23. He is better than golfers such as Max Homa, Scottie Scheffler, and Xander Schauffele.

That is likely to change as we get into more difficult tournaments. However, let Dahmen bask in the glory of his own success at the moment. Dahmen trails only Tony Finau and Jon Rahm for the highest scoring average on the PGA Tour4.

Dahmen has finished in the top 10 in three straight tournaments. He was T3 at the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, T9 at the Houston Open, and T5 at the RSM Classic.

Dahmen’s performance at the U.S. Open was the highlight of his 2021-22 season. The outspoken native of Clarkston, Washington, finished T10 at even with Gary Woodland.

Confidence is pouring out of Damen at the moment. He looks like a strong AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Value pick at +3300.

AT&T PEBBLE BEACH PRO-AM PICK:
Joel Dahmen
