Shaquille O’Neal Props and Betting Odds – What Does 2024 Hold for “Shaq Diesel”?

Shaquille O’Neal Props and Betting Odds – What Does 2024 Hold for “Shaq Diesel”?

We have some Shaquille O’Neal props and betting odds centering on one of the greatest big men in NBA history. O’Neal is a legend in the NBA, with four league titles, three Finals MVPs, and one regular-season MVP (which seems outlandish). O’Neal has also had his number retired by three teams: the Los Angeles Lakers, the Orlando Magic, and the Miami Heat (and at his alma mater, LSU, if you count that).

Now, O’Neal is known as a part of arguably sports’ best studio show, Inside the NBA, which is heading into its final season on TNT due to the NBA’s new media-rights deal. He is also known as DJ Diesel, an EDM DJ who has his annual music festival.

BetUS has several Shaquille O’Neal props and betting specials for you to consider, and I’ve picked my top three you should take a look at. I’ll give you my analysis for those betting markets, before providing some slam-dunk picks!

To Have Over 18 Million X/Twitter Followers in 2024

  • Yes (-150)

O’Neal’s X/Twitter account currently sits at 15.7 million followers, but it’s the offseason in the NBA right now. With this being the final season of the beloved Inside the NBA, I would bet on a “Yes” that O’Neal gains the 2.3 million followers he needs to get to 18 million. “The Big Aristotle” also has separate X/Twitter accounts for his Inside the NBA segment, Shaqtin’ A Fool, as well as for his podcast, The Big Podcast.

Of course, he also has an account for DJ Diesel. But basketball is his bread and butter, and he’s going to gain a ton of followers for this upcoming final season of Inside the NBA. I would recommend betting on “Yes” here.

The Bet

To Release a Song Called “Random Acts of Shaqness” in 2024

  • Yes (+1200)

O’Neal is also a rapper who released his first album, “Shaq Diesel” in October 1993. He has released four rap albums in total, and has worked with some of the biggest names in hip-hop, including Jay-Z, the Notorious B.IG., Mobb Deep, Redman, and RZA and Method Man of the Wu-Tang Clan.

He also released an EDM album called “Gorilla Warfare” in 2023. O’Neal now has two avenues in which he can release a song called “Random Acts of Shaqness”, a statement that he has included in his X/Twitter bio.

I’m going with a “Yes” on this Shaquille O’Neal prop as well, as “Shaq Fu” (he also has more nicknames than anyone in the history of sports) surely has a studio at his house. It wouldn’t be a shock at all if he dropped a “Random Acts of Shaqness” in 2024. There are many ways he could go with this.

The Bet

Shannon Sharpe to Release a Shaquille O’Neal Diss Track in 2024

  • Yes (+1200)

Speaking of Shaq the rapper, he had something he had to get off his chest pertaining to Shannon Sharpe in May 2024.

O’Neal’s beef with the former NFL tight end and current podcast host started when Shaq said he thought Oklahoma City’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander should have won MVP over Denver’s Nikola Jokić. Sharpe claimed that O’Neal was jealous because Jokic has three MVPs to O’Neal’s one (which is still outlandish). O’Neal responded on Instagram:

Of course, Sharpe isn’t going to take anything lying down, claiming that O’Neal was lazy and didn’t take the game seriously enough, which is why he had just one MVP.

That led to the above rebuttal on a rap track, and this isn’t the first time that O’Neal has done this. He rapped about Kobe Bryant when they had their issues, and Shaq also went after Lavar Ball in 2017.

This “beef” seems to be over as nothing has been said since June, when Sharpe went on Cam Newton’s “Funky Friday” podcast. Sharpe stated that he has not spoken to O’Neal since the two went back and forth. However, O’Neal is known to be incredibly petty, and he doesn’t forget anything.

But so is Sharpe, and as we’ve seen from his popular podcast, Club Shay Shay, he’s not afraid to stir the pot. I could see Sharpe getting in the booth and rapping (or at least, talking) over a track about O’Neal. It’s not quite Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake, but I’d listen to it.
