Team Speed vs. Team Kai: Team Speed -4.5 (-110)

    • Team Speed -4.5 (-110)
    • Team Kai +4.5 (-110)

The celebrity football rosters reveal solid talent on both sides. However, I have Team Speed as the better overall squad. Flag football is won primarily by having speedy athletes in the open field. Also, quarterback play is the most important aspect of flag football.

There are two Pro Bowl quarterbacks at the helm for Team Speed and Team Kai. Team Speed will have former Carolina Panthers’ QB Cam Newton dropping back. Meanwhile, Kai convinced former Atlanta Falcons’ QB Michael Vick to suit up.

Vick last played in the NFL in 2015 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 44-year-old appeared in five games as a backup. Conversely, Newton most recently entered an NFL game in 2021 with the Panthers. After a year in New England, Newton finished his career where it all started in Carolina.

Despite being out of the league since 2021, Newton is only 35 years old. He’s shown interest and wanting to return, and hasn’t officially retired yet. At the start of this season, Newton said he believes his career is probably over but isn’t retiring.

Although this is a meaningless flag football exhibition, Newton should be motivated to play well. Vick, on the other hand, is 44 and can still play a fun game of flag football, but I give the nod to Newton.

Most importantly, Newton has some weapons to work with, most notably top 2025 NFL Draft prospect Shedeur Sanders. Yeah, that Sanders. Sanders is the best athlete on the field and should make this look easy.

Along with Sanders, Jordan Chiles is an Olympic gymnast, so Team Speed has more true athletes on its roster. Pro flag football player Diana Flores is the one who could save Team Kai, but the rest of the roster is lacking.

Sanders and Newton are the difference here, so lay the points on Team Speed!

The Bet
Team Speed -4.5

Will Speed or Kai Rip off Their Shirts? Yes (+250)

    • Yes (+250)
    • No (-300)

There is a decent enough chance that one of the team captains rips off their shirt for this flag football game. They are both overly eccentric and unpredictable human beings.

Ripping off their shirt during a football game is one of the least crazy things either has done in their social media careers. In an exhibition football game, ripping their shirt off as part of a celebration or at the end of the game is possible.

The more likely influencer to do this is Speed. And, since they are favorites to win the matchup, I like this wager even more. At +250 odds, it’s worth a shot for your Speed vs. Kai flag football best bets!

Will Speed Bark at an Opponent or Referee? Yes (-300)

    • Yes (-300)
    • No (+250)

Although this isn’t the Puppy Bowl, we are likely to have some barking in the celebrity flag football showdown. If you are unfamiliar with IShowSpeed, then allow me to do my best to explain what he’s about.

One of the signature expressions for Speed is to bark like a dog, often at other people. He’s been spotted on streams barking quite regularly, so this is where the insane prop bet is coming from.

Yes, we are aware this is one of the weirdest Super Bowl props out there. In any event, there is money to be made regardless. While Speed is unlikely to bark to the point of being insanely obnoxious, he should let out a few barks at Kai’s team.

He will be too in the moment not to let out a loud bark or two! With this in mind, yes, Speed will bark at an opponent or ref on Saturday.

The Bet
Yes

Speed Does the “SIUUU” Celebration? Yes (-300)

    • Yes (-300)
    • No (+250)

Another one of Speed’s tendencies is to hit Cristiano Ronaldo’s “SIUUU” celebration. Translated to “yes” in Portuguese, Ronaldo is responsible for making “SIUUU” a household celebratory move.

Speed has gotten in on the craze and regularly breaks out a “SIUUU”. He’s performed the celebration at multiple WWE events and did it as recently as this weekend at the Royal Rumble!

The 20-year-old also broke out the move recently on a trip to Peru. Speed will never popularize the celebration as much as CR7, but he’s certainly trying to make it one of his go-to moves in her arsenal.

I am confident Speed hits the “SIUUU”, so consider this prop for your Super Bowl celebrity flag football picks!
