Tour of Flanders 2025 Betting Odds and Predictions: Pogacar Unstoppable?

Tour of Flanders 2025 Betting Odds and Predictions: Pogacar Unstoppable?

The 2025 Tour of Flanders odds suggest we will witness another battle between Tadej Pogačar and Mathieu van der Poel on the streets of Belgium. Pogačar is off to a hot start in 2025 after dominating in 2024. Van der Poel, on the other hand, is looking to become the first four-time winner of the event. Who will come out on top and can someone else spoil the party?

In this guide, I break down the latest Tour of Flanders odds, highlight the top favorites, and share my prediction for this year’s edition. The goal is to help you find the best bets for the famous race!

Here are the current odds to win the 2025 Tour of Flanders, courtesy of BetUS.

RiderTour of Flanders Winner Odds
Tadej Pogačar-140
Mathieu van der Poel  +175
Mads Pedersen +800
Wout Van Aert+900
Matteo Jorgenson  +3300
Jhonatan Narvaez  +8000
Stefan Kung+8000

Tadej Pogačar is the -140 betting favorite at top cycling sites to win his second Tour of Flanders. He is closely followed by the reigning champion, Mathieu van der Poel. Van der Poel has won three of the last five iterations of this race and is tied for the most wins of all time. Despite his success, van der Poel has never won back-to-back.

The odds fade quickly after the two favorites. Mads Pedersen and Wout Van Aert round out the top four at 8-1 and 9-1 odds, respectively.

Tour of Flanders 2025 Route and Key Info

While not the most famous of all cycling events, the Tour of Flanders still attracts many of the top street cyclists in the world. Here is the important information you need to know for this year’s race.

2025 Tour of Flanders Dates

Like the Strade Bianche, the annual Tour of Flanders is a single-day event. The 2025 race will take place on Sunday, April 6th.

Tour of Flanders Route

The current route for the Tour of Flanders begins in Antwerp and includes a 100 km flat run-in through multiple towns, including Sint-Niklaas and Zottegem.

In the second part of the race, competitors will battle through three loops before ending in Oudenaarde. Included in these loops are multiple hills that will likely decide the winner!

If you want to see the official course map, you can find it at the Tour of Flanders website.

2025 Tour of Flanders Prize Pool

In 2024, the Tour of Flanders had a €50,000 prize pool for both the men’s and women’s races. The top 20 finishers receive a portion of the prize money, including:

    • First place = €20,000
    • Second place = €10,000
    • Third place = €5,000
    • Fourth place = €2,500
    • Fifth place = €2,000

The cyclists who finish in 10th-20th place all receive €500 apiece.

2025 Tour of Flanders Favorites

There are several cyclists chasing history in this year’s Tour of Flanders. Let’s take a closer look at the top favorites for this year’s race.

Tadej Pogačar (-140)

Tadej Pogačar has started 2025 strong, winning the UAE Tour and the Strade Bianche. He is listed as the -140 favorite to add the Tour of Flanders to his resume in 2025. Pogačar has won this event once before, taking home the grand prize in 2023.

His current Tour of Flanders odds give Pogačar an implied win probability of 58.33%.

The star made his race debut in 2022, placing fourth overall. In his second appearance, Pogačar won the Tour of Flanders. However, he opted not to defend his crown, and this will be his first appearance since his win in 2023.

He has never finished outside the top four, but with only two previous Tour of Flanders under his belt, Pogačar has far less experience than the other top competitors. His relative inexperience could put Pogačar’s dominant run in jeopardy this Sunday, but his form suggests he is the man to beat in Belgium.

Mathieu van der Poel (+175)

The cyclist with the best odds to upset Pogačar this weekend is Mathieu van der Poel. He is listed at +175 to win a record-setting fourth Tour of Flanders.

Van der Poel is tied with six other cyclists for the most Tour of Flanders wins of all time. No other current cyclist has more than two wins in this event, while van der Poel has won it three times since 2020.

To make history, van der Poel must do something that few cyclists have accomplished in the last 16 months: beat Pogačar. He did it in 2022, Pogačar’s first appearance in the event, but came up just 16 seconds short of Pogačar in 2023.

Mads Pedersen (+800)

Rounding out the top three is Mads Pederson, who is listed at 8-1 odds to win the 2025 Tour of Flanders. Pederson is a distant third, with an implied win probability of 11.11%.

As the rest of the odds for this event suggest, it should be a two-man race between Pogačar and van der Poel. However, Pederson and the rest of the field should not be counted out.

For his part, Pederson has competed in this race seven times, so he has plenty of experience. Pederson has finished in the top three twice, including a second-place finish in his debut in 2018.

He also finished in the top four in two of three monument classics that Pederson raced in 2024. Pederson started this season with a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Milan–San Remo in Italy, so he’s not in peak form.

Best 2025 Tour of Flanders Sleepers

The Tour of Flanders attracts top road cyclists from across the Europe. With a field full of top talent, there are bound to be great sleeper betting opportunities.

My top dark horse for the 2025 Tour of Flanders is Luca Mozzato (+15000). The Italian cyclist recently turned 27 and is still looking to make a name for himself in road cycling.

Mozzato is not the biggest name in the sport but has the talent to win this race. He finished second in the 2024 Tour of Flanders and was only +1’02” behind van der Poel. Mozzato also won the 2024 Bredene Koksijde Classic, which also takes place in Belgium.

He showed he could hang with the best in last year’s Tour of Flanders. The only question now is whether Mozzato can improve on his performance from last year and win this race. At +15000, last year’s runner-up offers plenty of value for bettors to take advantage of.

Tour of Flanders 2025 Predictions

The world’s best road cyclists will descend on Flanders, Belgium, for the annual Tour of Flanders race. Pogačar is, unsurprisingly, the -140 favorite to win the race for the second time in his career.

It’s hard to go against Pogačar’s dominance since the start of last season. He faces a tough battle against van der Poel (+175), who is also chasing history. However, van der Poel has been unable to secure back-to-back wins in Flanders.

Furthermore, most of his victories have come against a field that didn’t include Pogacar. The Slovenian is on another level right now, so I simply can’t back anyone else with my Tour of Flanders prediction.
