The world’s premiere MMA promotion returns to action this weekend with UFC Fight Night 220: Krylov vs Spann live from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. This 14-fight card features a light heavyweight matchup between Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann in the main event.

Nikita Krylov -170 vs Ryan Spann +140
Krylov shocked us against Oezdemir, and his 3-2 record since 2020 is keeping him in the top fifteen. Spann has the same record, but was knocked out by Walker, the fighter Krylov put away with ease.
The under 2.5 rounds hovers at -250 for this reason, Spann hasn’t seen a decision since his 2020 bout with Sam Alvey, the second of his UFC career.
Betting the Krylov money line is only a small increase in payout from the under. Bettors looking for a parlay addition should consider the under 4.5 rounds at -600, a $15 payout per $100 wagered, but a nearly sure-fire bet. Neither man has made it a full four rounds in the UFC.
Andre Muniz -230 vs Brendan Allen +185
Our betting favorite (Muniz) is undefeated in the UFC, boasting 4 first round finishes. Allen is 9-2 for the promotion, losing only to Chris Curtis and Strickland. This is a fight of technicians with both men showing top tier submission skills.
One concern is Muniz rate of fire, landing an average of 1.91 significant strikes per minute. Allen is a volume striker, who will look to put combinations together on the feet and win rounds. If Muniz can’t utilize the takedown, Allen could see a decision win.
We’re betting the underdog here. Our payout for Muniz isn’t high enough for our confidence level, and we think the BJJ of Muniz is being overstated against the lanky Brendan Allen.

Augusto Sakai -140 vs Don’tale Mayes +115
‘The King’ Mayes is coming off an overturned loss back in July. This puts him at 4-3 in the UFC, including a submission loss to Gane. Sakai is on a four-fight losing streak, each via knockout. He hasn’t won a fight in three years, and he’s known solely for knockout power.
The under is an obvious choice, with a -165 at Under 2.5 rounds. The odds makers don’t see Mayes as a finisher despite three UFC and DWCS knockouts. We’re looking at the under, as well as the Mayes money line for those interested in a higher return.
Montana de La Rosa +550 vs Tatiana Suarez -850
Suarez is undefeated, racking up three UFC finishes before disappearing in 2019. She’s making her comeback fight against the 4-3-1 (UFC) Rosa, who is always do or die.
Rosa has knockout power, but has shown she can be outworked by Top 10 fighters. Suarez has been out with knee and neck injuries for years, and is making her return against a tough opponent. We assume she wouldn’t come back without being 100% ready, but we’re skipping this money line.
The temptation is to parlay the -850 fighter, but we see a large enough chance of an upset, given the injuries, that we’ll tentatively call this one a No-Bet.
Mike Malott -220 vs Yohan Lainesse +175
Proper Mike has finished every opponent he’s defeated, while Lainesse was knocked out last April. Yohan is 2-1 in the UFC, but his last win over Weeks was a decision that the stats don’t agree with at all. Yohan absorbed twice as many strikes as Weeks.
Malott has faced overall superior fighters, we’re comfortable with his money line payout. The over/under feels riskier than the money line, with a -250 for Under 2.5 Rounds.
Erick Gonzalez +150 vs Trevor Peek -185
Gonzalez has had the misfortune of meeting Jim Miller and McKinney in back-to-back losses. Peek is fresh to the UFC after a DWCS KO win. He’s undefeated, and has put out nearly every opponent he’s faced with KOs, including 8 pro-am first round knockouts.
Given Gonzalez already fading chin, we see Peek taking the win, and would consider Peek by TKO prop when it’s listed later in the week, likely at +150 or better.
Gabriella Fernandes -130 vs Jasmine Jasudavicius +110
At 1-1 in the UFC, Jasudavicius has shown well rounded fighting, but poor to no head movement and striking defense. That’s a problem against UFC newcomer Fernandes.
An LFA veteran, Fernandes has a history of grounding and smashing all comers. She’s faced some moderate quality fighters, with Jasmine having the best record of any of them. We’ll put money on Fernandes’ UFC Fight Night 220 odds because of how overwhelming her fight tape looks.

Jordan Leavitt +100 vs Victor Martinez -120
We didn’t call Leavitt’s loss to Paddy, and we didn’t expect how much bigger Paddy would be, even at 155. Martinez is 13-4 coming off a DWCS war. His record outside of the UFC isn’t particularly impressive, and he’s fumbled fights against lesser fighters than Leavitt.
We expect the upset, and will happily take the UFC Fight Night 220 betting odds for a 1:1 return on Leavitt.
Charles Johnson -155 vs Ode Osbourne +130
Ode has been finished three times in the UFC including two first round knockouts. Johnson just starched Jimmy Flick, making him the favorite. The ‘Fight Goes the Distance, No’ at -145 reflects five of the six outcomes for Osbourne since joining the UFC.
It’s a tough call, but we like the Over 1.5 rounds at -230. Johnson is usually a slow starter, and Osbourne may come in tentatively given his recent loss.
Carl Deaton +425 vs Joe Solecki -600
Solecki lost a split decision to Jared Gordon in 2021 and has only fought once since then. He’s a grappling and defense centered fighter, facing a 17-5 UFC newcomer. Deaton has been in the game since 2009. He’s now 33, and will struggle against top competition.
Solecki is light years ahead of any of Deaton’s previous opponents. This is our UFC Fight Night 220 prediction for best parlay addition.
Nurullo Aliev -185 vs Rafael Alves +150
Aliev is undefeated, coming in through DWCS for his first UFC bout. He’s 8-0, and his amateur bouts are tough to track but he was already incredible, including bouts in pancreas and other Sambo style contests.
Aliev’s striking needs work, and Alves could catch him. We’re going with the money line, but sticking with a value bet rather than parlay addition.
Ailin Perez +110 vs Hailey Cowan -130
Both fighters are talented, but decision oriented. The Over matches the majority of their wins, and their power level. We don’t see a knockout, and would even consider dropping to the over 1.5 rounds when it’s released.
Garrett Armfield -155 vs Jose Johnson +130
Johnson is a 1-1 DWCS fighter going against Armfield, who is fresh off his UFC debut loss. Johnson is less consistent, but also more well-rounded. We could see another Armfield loss, especially given the massive height advantage Johnson has. It will take a toll on Armfield’s haymaker strike.
UFC Fight Night 220: Close Fights and Tight Odds
If we were to make a 3-fight parlay, we’d look at Solecki and a few of the over/under props. Fans of Suarez can include her, but it’s a risk against a heavy-handed underdog. Don’t be afraid to spread your money out across the multiple high confidence bets on this UFC card.
