Funny Super Bowl 59 Bets: Crazy and Weird Props

Check out the table below for a quick look at our favorite Super Bowl 2025 fun bets. As more wild props are released at NFL betting sites, we will continue to add more, so come back soon for more selections:

These could serve you well if you’re filling in a Super Bowl prop bet sheet as well. Explore our wild Super Bowl prop bets with my reasoning for each selection below. There is a method to the madness, so you’ll want to see how I came to a conclusion for these novelty Super Bowl bets:

Color of Liquid Poured on Winning Coach Odds and Prediction

COLORODDS
Purple+175
Blue+325
Lime/Green/Yellow+325
Orange+450
Clear/Water+700
No Liquid+1800

As one of the most popular silly Super Bowl bets, the color of Gatorade poured on the winning head coach at the conclusion of the game is a fun one. Purple typically isn’t favored to be the color of choice, but there is a good reason here.

The Kansas City Chiefs are favored to win Super Bowl 59. They are gunning for a three-peat, and for the last two years, they drank purple Gatorade. Andy Reid was drenched in the purple sports drink, so it’s the favorite at +175!

In short, purple has an implied chance of 36.4% to be the drink of choice. When the Eagles won the Super Bowl in 2018, they were the first team in NFL history to opt for yellow Gatorade. If you like the Chiefs, there are a couple of angles for betting on purple.

Not only do players clearly like the purple flavor, but superstitions have to be considered for researching weird Super Bowl prop bet picks. After winning back-to-back Super Bowls with purple Gatorade, don’t you think they’ll continue riding this flavor?

According to The Takeout, the latest sales data reveals that blue is the most popular color. It’s also been selected three times since 2019 in the Super Bowl, so if you like the Eagles, there is value in this flavor at +325.

However, since I give the Chiefs a strong chance of winning, sign me up for purple liquid for one of my obscure Super Bowl bets!

Super Bowl Post-Game Interview: MVP Mentions First in Speech

If you want terrific betting value for your funniest Super Bowl 59 bets, there isn’t much better than the post-game interview with the MVP. The Super Bowl MVP odds always favor the quarterbacks, so Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts are the most likely players to win MVP and be interviewed on the field.

We know that Mahomes and Hurts are religious to some degree. When it comes to Hurts, he credits God and his father for the direction in his life. Furthermore, in 2019, Hurts referenced God in a Players Tribute message to the University of Alabama.

Mahomes and Hurts have both thanked God in post-game interviews before, too. In fact, Mahomes credited God after winning the 2025 AFC Championship Game! The “God or Jesus” option should be closer to -130 or -135, so there is top value here and one of our best outrageous Super Bowl LIX bets!

What Team Apparel Will Drake Wear on Super Bowl Sunday?

    • Kansas City Chiefs (-170)
    • Philadelphia Eagles (+130)

Will the Drake curse live on at Super Bowl 59? Well, he beat the curse last year after betting on the Chiefs to beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. It’s highly unlikely that Drake will jump off the bandwagon and side with the Eagles this year.

He tends to stick with what is working and who is winning, so Drake should be a Chief fan again this season. Also, it’s worth noting that Drake has mentioned Mahomes in one of his freestyles, “Lemon Pepper Freestyle”.

If Drake dresses up for Super Bowl Sunday, I am confident he’ll be wearing Chiefs gear. Before finalizing your craziest Super Bowl bets, consider Drake to wear Chiefs team apparel on Sunday!

The Bet
KC Chiefs

Will the Power Go Out During the Game?

    • Yes (+1600)
    • No (-15000)

This is certainly one of the strangest Super Bowl props you will find at Super Bowl betting sites! Will the power go out at the Caesars Superdome during Super Bowl LIX? As a refresher, this wild prop bet alludes to what happened during Super Bowl XLVII.

The power went out in this very stadium at the Superdome in New Orleans. It’s an older facility built in 1971, so a power outage isn’t shocking. Nevertheless, the lights going out during a Super Bowl was unprecedented.

I am confident that the personnel at the Caesars Superdome won’t allow another outage during the Big Game. They have upgraded their electricity system since then, and it will be double and triple-checked for Super Bowl LIX. The current weird prop odds for this bet suggest a 99.3% implied chance that the power won’t go out!

Although this is one of the most fun Super Bowl prop bets, there is no value at -15000 odds. This is merely a fun bet to potentially use in a Super Bowl prop pool with your friends! In any event, no, the power won’t go out at Super Bowl 59!

What Will Happen to the Price of Bitcoin (BTC) During the Game?

    • Price Moves Up (-135)
    • Price Moves Down (+105)

Betting with BTC is one of the easiest ways to place funny Super Bowl 2025 prop bets! And, now, offshore sportsbooks have included Bitcoin as a market for the weirdest Super Bowl 59 props!

In 2024, Bitcoin skyrocketed on a 150% rally. Since experiencing a low of $16,000 two years ago, Bitcoin has exploded by roughly 600% to over $100,000! In other words, the bet for the price to move up is favored at -135.

Simply by recency bias, most bettors assume the price of Bitcoin will scoot upward from kickoff to the final whistle. However, in such a short window of roughly three to four hours, there is a 50/50 chance it will drop or rise.

There is no good way to predict in the very short term, so there is value to be had on the price moving down. I suggest adding this one to your unusual Super Bowl bets card!

Will Any Player Propose on the Field After the Game?

    • Yes (+300)
    • No (-450)

Proposing to a partner after the game is not unheard of in Super Bowl history. For instance, in 2022, Los Angeles Rams’ safety Taylor Rapp proposed to his girlfriend on the field after they won the game.

With this in mind, it’s one of the seemingly stupid Super Bowl LIX props that might be worth a shot! There is some precedence with this bet, so I like to include it on my card. I know what you’re thinking, too. Will Travis Kelce propose to Taylor Swift after the game?

It’s possible. I don’t expect it, but it’s something to consider if the Chiefs win. In any case, the value is on a player proposing after Super Bowl LIX. I’m not willing to lay -450 odds on a bet that has a decent chance of losing. Pulling for no proposal is no fun, either, so let’s go with yes, there will be a proposal.

And, oh yeah, we have you covered with Taylor Swift prop bets for Super Bowl LIX, too!

First TV Advertisement: Booking.com vs. GoDaddy

    • Booking.com (-115)
    • GoDaddy (-115)

Do you want more strange Super Bowl props? The Sports Geek has more to consider for your NFL betting strategy on Super Bowl LIX! Let’s take a look at one of the many Super Bowl commercial odds available at Bovada.

I have some confidence in web hosting company GoDaddy coming out of the gates swinging! It’s one of the most well-known companies to advertise during the Super Bowl. In 2005, GoDaddy debuted and immediately made an impression with an advertisement that FOX intended to ban from the broadcast!

They typically like to make a splash, and I expect them to have some good in store for Super Bowl LIX. Look for GoDaddy to beat Booking.com to the punch, so I recommend this one for your ridiculous Super Bowl 2025 bets!

How Many Times Will Roger Goodell Be Shown During the Broadcast?

    • Over 1.5 (+100)
    • Under 1.5 (-130)

This is one of those crazy Super Bowl bets that I make sure to go back to every year. The bet continues to win, but sports betting sites never adjust the total! With that in mind, I am going to take advantage of this market again for my Super Bowl prop bets.

It’s unlikely that FOX will show NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell more than once during the broadcast. Note that this bet does not include pre-game, post-game, halftime, and commercials. That removes several opportunities. It only applies during the game.

Goodell will be shown once in his box suite at the Caesars Superdome. Otherwise, there is no good reason for Goodell to make a second appearance until the Vince Lombardi ceremony. In short, back the under 1.5 on Goodell’s fun Super Bowl props!

The Bet
Under 1.5

Halftime Show: Will Kendrick Lamar Mention Drake?

    • Yes (+300)
    • No (-450)

We have a variety of halftime prop bets, but I would like to highlight this unique option for your dumb Super Bowl bets! Yes, rapper Kendrick Lamar’s performance will be a shot at Drake, but I don’t believe he will mention him explicitly.

Instead, Lamar will perform his hit song “Not Like Us”, which is a diss track aimed at Drake. However, mentioning Drake by name is highly unlikely. I don’t see it being part of the script for the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

No, Drake will not be mentioned, so consider this wager for Super Bowl bets for fun!

Will the Coin During the Coin Toss Land on Its Edge? (Neither Heads/Tails Awarded)

  • Yes (+50000)

In one of the most ridiculous Super Bowl bets I’ve seen this year, I explore whether the coin will land on its edge during the coin toss. That’s a wild statement. Have you ever seen a coin balance itself on its edge before?

Although it seems impossible, it is possible for a coin to land on its edge. And, believe it or not, there was a study published in the Physical Review Journals to answer this very question.

According to the Probability of a tossed coin landing on edge, completed by Daniel B. Murray and Scott W. Teare, there is a 1 in 6000 chance of this occurring! However, note that this is studying a nickel.

The coin used in the Super Bowl is a special 24K gold Highland Mint that measures 1.5” in diameter. It’s much larger than a nickel, which includes the edges. In other words, this coin loss likely has a greater than 1 in 6000 chance.

Nevertheless, the odds are still incredibly high, and likely only bring it down to the 1 in 5000 to 4000 range. So, are the posted odds of +50000 worth betting on?

The implied probability of these odds is 0.2%, or expressed in fraction odds of 500/1. 1 in 5000 equates to a 0.020% chance. Needless to say, this has never happened before in a Super Bowl.

In short, the odds for this bet should be much higher than +50000. If you want to have a fun Super Bowl coin toss bet, then consider this one. You can find at Requested Super Bowl Wagers at Bovada.

However, if you are searching for the best value, this isn’t where you should be looking!
