Cody Rhodes (-2000) vs. AJ Styles (+750) Odds, and Prediction

  • Cody Rhodes (-2000)
  • AJ Styles (+750)

My WWE Clash at the Castle picks begin with the Undisputed WWE Championship Match between Cody Rhodes and challenger AJ Styles.  The two faced off at WWE Backlash in France in May, with Rhodes scoring the victory over Styles.

Both wrestlers are former Bullet Club members and easily two of best wrestlers in the world. On top of that, AJ is regarded as arguably the best in-ring performer of his generation.

AJ Styles teased that since he couldn’t beat Cody at Backlash, that he should just retire, but it was just a ruse to give Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows the chance to attack Cody.

There’s no doubt that AJ is at the tail end of his illustrious 26-year career, but most people (including myself) believe that “Phenomenal One” still has at least one more quality world title run in him.

However, Cody recently surpassed John Cena as the company’s biggest moneymaker. He’s moved more merchandise and sold more tickets than anyone since the days of Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, according to wrestling journalist .

And since making money is the name of the game in wrestling, I can’t see Cody losing to AJ this time around based on simple economics alone. The latest WWE Clash at the Castle odds are in line with this prediction, so I don’t recommend betting on this one.

-2000 for the favorite is not enough, while the underdog doesn’t have much of a chance.

Damien Priest (-120) vs. Drew McIntyre (-120) Odds, Prediction & Betting Pick

  • Damien Priest (-120)
  • Drew McIntyre (-120)

Damien Priest cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from a vulnerable Drew McIntyre immediately after McIntyre beat Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL.

McIntyre had recently signed a three-year extension with the company and wanted to start the pact off with a championship run. Priest had other plans, however, and took the opportunity to relieve the exhausted McIntyre of his belt.

Drew McIntyre is the greatest WWE wrestler to emerge from Scotland and is prominently featured on all the event’s marketing posters. Meanwhile, WWE has teased Priest’s Judgment Day faction falling apart for some time, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the faction crumbled if Priest were to lose.

A McIntyre championship victory would blow the roof off of OVO Hydro arena, and I confidently predict that the local boy will beat Damien priest for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. And since the odds are identical on both competitors for the match, this is among the Clash at the Castle 2024 best bets!

The Bet
Drew McIntyre

Bayley (-2000) vs. Piper Niven (+750) Odds, Prediction & Betting Pick

  • Bayley -2000
  • Piper Niven +750

Bayley’s legacy as one of the most important women in modern WWE history is already cemented as an original member of the unofficial “Four Horsewomen” alongside Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks/Mercedes Moné.

She recently returned from a year-long knee injury, winning the WWE Women’s Championship member from former stablemate Iyo Sky at WrestleMania XL.

Bayley has been harassed by Niven and her former tag-team-champion partner Chelsea Green ever since, and Smackdown GM Nick Aldis declared Niven the #1 contender to Bayley’s championship as a result.

Piper is clearly the underdog here, as Bayley is a women’s division stalwart that seems to be on a crash course to face Queen of the Ring Champion Nia Jax at this year’s SummerSlam. That said, WWE Head of Creative HHH is a big fan of hers, and I’m going out on a limb to say that Piper Niven will upset Bayley and win the WWE Women’s Championship in her home country.

And at +750 odds, a $20 wager on Piper would win you $150, which is why Piper Niven is my sleeper pick for Clash at the Castle.

The Bet
Piper Niven

Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (-2000) vs. The Unholy Union (+750) Odds, Predictions & Betting Pick

  • Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair (-2000)
  • The Unholy Union (+750)

Jade Cargill arrived in WWE at this year’s Royal Rumble and immediately came off as the megastar she will be for the foreseeable future. It didn’t take long for the former AEW TBS Champion to team up with one of WWE’s most impressive women in Bianca Belair. The two of them bested the Kabuki Warriors at WWE Backlash to win the Women’s Tag Team Championships in Lyon, France.

Since then, they’ve successfully defended the belts twice and will look for a third at Clash at the Castle.

Standing in their way is Scotland’s own Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, known as the Unholy Union. They attacked Cargill and Belair during a match on Smackdown and were rewarded for their misbehavior with a title match at Clash at the Castle.

Unfortunately for them, Cargill and Belair will rightly be two of the most prominent faces of the WWE Women’s Division for years to come. Even though winning the titles in front of their home fans would send the Glaswegian fans into a frenzy, the Unholy Union doesn’t stand a chance against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair.

The Bet
Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair

Gunther (-1000) vs. Randy Orton (+550) Odds, Predictions & Betting Pick

  • Gunther (-1000)
  • Randy Orton (-1000)

Gunther and Randy Orton battled it out for the King of the Ring in May, with the former emerging victorious.

The win wasn’t without controversy, as many fans noticed that Orton’s shoulders weren’t on the mat when the referee counted one-two-three. The referee’s decision stood, and now the two are poised for a rematch at Clash at the Castle.

Orton is one of the company’s all-time greatest competitors and doubtlessly is a future Hall of Famer.

Standing across from him will be Der Ringgeneral himself Gunther, who is fresh off the heels of a record-breaking Intercontinental Championship run.

Gunther vs. Randy Orton would be a marquee matchup at SummerSlam, WWE’s second-biggest show of the year after WrestleMania. And since Gunther won the first meeting between the two, I predict that Randy Orton will beat Gunther at Clash at the Castle to set up a third match between them at SummerSlam 2024.Such an outcome would allow the promotion to milk this rivalry to the maximum, so getting +550 for Orton is fantastic value.

The Bet
Randy Orton
