Gunther (-5000) enters as a heavy favorite in his first World Heavyweight Championship title defense. The 6’4” Austrian star has experienced a meteoric rise through the WWE over the last two years.

After breaking the record for the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WWE history, Gunther dropped the title to Zami Zayn at WrestleMania XL. This wasn’t a “loss” for Gunther per se.

He had to drop the IC Title to become a main event talent for the World Heavyweight Championship. This led to Gunther facing Damian Priest for the championship strap at SummerSlam. The Austrian defeated his opponent after Finn Balor got involved in the match.

With the fast-rising star only a few weeks removed from winning the World Heavyweight Championship, ageless veteran Randy Orton will attempt to spoil the party. I don’t see what Orton would gain by winning here, so it’s a highly unlikely scenario!

Orton does not need another major title run, especially at Gunther’s expense. Before he retires, I could see the “Viper” having a short goodwill run as champ. However, it won’t happen right after Gunther won his first Heavyweight Championship.

A win over Orton provides Gunther with a reputable win to give his championship resume a solid boost. Winning doesn’t help Orton’s career, but it adds another layer to Gunther’s dominant persona.

Additionally, Gunther losing close to home in Germany would be a shocking development. The WWE 2024 Bash in Berlin betting odds for the favorite are accurate at -5000. This equates to a 98% win probability in favor of Gunther.

There is no value on Gunther’s price at entertainment betting sites, though. I recommend passing on the -5000 odds and looking elsewhere!

Cody Rhodes vs. Kevin Owens Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

He successfully defended the title over Solo Sikao after receiving help from Reigns. The WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 odds indicate that Rhodes has a highly likely chance of beating Owens. At -5000, similar to Gunther, Rhodes has a 98% implied probability of winning, as well.

So, what’s the angle in this match? A heel turn for Owens is the most likely point of this bout. Otherwise, nothing should be unpredictable about how this match goes at Bash in Berlin.

Fanatics recently announced that Rhodes is the top merchandise seller for the online outlet. He is the new face of the company, and the WWE likely wants to keep it that way. Dropping the title to Owens would make little to no sense!

Rhodes will get through this match without any issues. He’ll hold onto the Universal WWE Championship for the foreseeable future, and when he loses, it isn’t going to be against Owens.

This is a mediocre match booked with two recognizable names for the crowd in Germany. Don’t expect anything too crazy to happen in this one, as Rhodes clears Owens to retain the title. However, I can’t suggest making Rhodes one of your WWE Bash in Berlin best bets.

I expect Rhodes to win but laying -5000 for such a little return isn’t wise. Consider waiting on other WWE Bash in Berlin 2024 odds instead of paying this price!

LA Knight vs. Any Other Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

LA Knight (-3000) will put his United States Championship on the line against a wildcard opponent! There is an open challenge for LA Knight’s US Title in Germany. The Bash in Berlin odds suggest that LA Knight is well on his way to defending the strap.

Currently, LA Knight has a 96.8% implied probability of beating the mystery opponent, which hasn’t been named yet. The most likely challengers include Ilja Dragunov. Dragunov started his wrestling career in Germany, so it would make sense to make an appearance.

Other foes that could step up are Lugwid Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci. However, if I were betting on it, Dragunov is my guy to face LA Knight. Regardless of LA Knight’s opponent, it’s highly unlikely that he will drop the title in this spot.

He has been the champ since defeating Logan Paul at SummerSlam 2024. It would be an awfully quick turnaround for LA Knight to suddenly lose the US Title at the Bash in Berlin. It would especially be surprising if it happened in a wildcard match against a mystery superstar.

LA Knight defends the championship and continues his reign as the US Champion in Germany! That said, laying -3000 is a no-play on my end, as this wager offers no value.

CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

In what I anticipate to be a highly entertaining match between two workers operating at a high level, CM Punk (-500) and Drew McIntyre (+300) should put on a show for the crowd in Berlin. It should be an entertaining rematch, but who pulls out the win at the Bash in Berlin?

CM Punk is a heavy favorite to stand tall over McIntyre. Whether you like him or not, this is the most likely result. CM Punk is expected to get the win after a brutally physical Strap Match.

It’s unlikely that we will witness total domination from CM Punk. McIntyre is going to be the aggressor for a large portion of this match! However, CM Punk will flip the script and pull this one out.

McIntyre is coming off a win over CM Punk in a grudge match at SummerSlam. Having McIntyre win back-to-back matches over him in a month’s time doesn’t sit well. Also, a Strap Match is the perfect way for CM Punk to beat McIntyre while still not being able to pin him for a three-count!

I suspect the WWE is setting up a rubber match in the future between these two. With that in mind, McIntyre winning doesn’t put the storyline in that direction. CM Punk dispatches McIntyre to get his bracelet back at the Bash in Berlin!

Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill vs. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn Odds, Prediction, and Betting Pick

These are interesting Bash in Berlin 2024 betting odds for this match between Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (-140) vs. the Unholy Union (+100). I have the Unholy Union, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn, small favorites in this battle.

Nevertheless, oddsmakers have Belair and Cargill pegged as -140 favorites, with a 58.3% chance of winning. I don’t see it the same way, however. Fyre & Dawn may not get a clean win, but the possibility of a dirty victory via interference is alive and well.

Fyre & Dawn have a bit of life left in their title run as women’s tag team champs! Naomi getting involved in this match is almost guaranteed, but the Unholy Union should fend off outsider challengers to retain the titles. A full heel turn for Belair after a devastating loss could be in the cards here!

Priest and Ripley (-300) are heavy favorites to pick up the win. Currently, the odds for WWE Bash in Berlin indicate an implied probability to win of 75%! I expect this to be a closer match than the oddsmakers are projecting.

Ripley will get her revenge eventually, but I don’t see it happening here in a mixed tag-team match. The New Judgment Day promises to interfere in this match — Finn Balor will undoubtedly play a big role in the outcome.

Ripley and Morgan are destined for a singles match at Bad Blood. That is where I expect Ripley to regain her momentum as the dominant force of the women’s division. Also, Balor vs. Priest is a likely scenario for Bad Blood on the heels of a confrontation at the Bash in Berlin.

I do not recommend backing Priest and Ripley at -300. There is too much doubt in this spot, so consider Mysterio and Morgan at a fantastic price of +200!
