Houston Astros @ Seattle Mariners - May 29, 2024

As a die-hard fan of the Seattle Mariners, I am beyond excited for the upcoming game against the Houston Astros. Our team is currently riding a three-game winning streak, and nothing would make me happier than to see them continue their winning ways at T-Mobile Park.

On Wednesday night, the Mariners will be facing off against the Astros, with right-hander George Kirby taking the mound for Seattle. Kirby has been solid this season with a 4-5 record and a 3.8 ERA. While he may not have the flashiest stats, I believe in his ability to keep us in the game and give our batters a chance to shine.

Facing off against Kirby will be none other than Justin Verlander of the Astros. Verlander boasts a 3-2 record and a 4.6 ERA this season. He is a formidable opponent on any given day, but I have faith that our hitters can rise to the occasion and put some runs on the board against him.

Looking at the batting stats, it’s clear that both teams have been productive at the plate. On the other hand, the Mariners have held their own with 3.7 runs per game and a .221 batting average.

In terms of predictions for this game, it’s bound to be a close matchup between two talented teams. While my heart says that the Mariners will come out on top once again, my head tells me that the Astros might have the slight edge this time around. With their potent offense and Verlander on the mound, I predict that Houston will take home the win in what could be a low-scoring affair.
